First
He showed you some stuff that you didn't see in college in this game because his QB coach is Pep Hamilton Brotha. (:
This dude doesn’t know football
He isn’t a first or second because the PAC-12 shut down last year for COVID
Solid analysis
You planning on doing Sam Elhinger??
Yo, where did Jamie Newman end up going and did he play at all? Thought he'd end up being a steal.
Davis Mills was Legit! Alot of dropped passes.
Thank you for posting this!
I really don't like this narrative that goes "it's too bad he has to play for the Texans". I think that's completely false for a number of reasons. For one, Caserio and the coaching staff are great for a young QB that wants to be able to learn to command their own offense. Also expectations aren't that high and he's got a O-line potentially many young qbs would love to have. Also the team is not completely devoid of talent on the offensive side of the ball.
Can you break down the texans new defense? They look better at stopping the run
Mills looked poised, confident and appeared to have complete command of the offense. He lead his team on a 17 play 80 yard scoring drive converting on three critical 3rd and long situations… I'm not sure where u played QB but that's not an easy thing to do lol.
As for mistakes, I say the more the better primarily because it's preseason..duh!! Also I'd much rather work w/a QB who makes the challenging throws look easy and misses a few "easy" passes…. I think it's fixable but not the other way around lol
Who's your fav rookie QB from the 2021 class?
Idk why you guys freak out cause he’s a third rounder Russell Wilson was a third rounder and dude is a bad ass QB it all depends on coaching staff
Mills Davis played for Stanford in a down season for Pac-12 football last season.
The Texans wasted a pick on this dude.
At best, be may make a future back-up QB for the Texans.
We need OU’s Spencer Rattler!!!
We could also use Lincoln Riley,
Maybe we can make it a package deal in 2022?
When Davis Mills starts and finishes his second season then I'll give my opinion. Because 1 you can't judge someone there first year the first year is a learning curve for all rookies yes some will do great that you didn't expect. Some you thought were going to be great end up being disappointments. The second year is the year that a player is are isn't going to be a NFL caliber player because you can't use no excuse he got his feet wet and he should be able to move forward. And after that second full year then you should be able to tell what you really got.
I'm almost certain that these guys aren't the only ones you study.
