time to pack Kendall shffield ass up. eery time he miss time with an injury he come back playing horrible
What it do Fam 💯💯💯
Sheffield….yet another wasted pick to remind us of the last regime's inability to draft
Fowler going to shine in the 3-4 scheme
Yeah they are the only NFL team so far I just seen that 8 minutes ago
I didn’t know that he was hurt
D led ddnt ask the question
Josh Andrews playing well lol? He got man handle fam
I'm glad everyone is vacininated. Guys want to be paid if their out because of covid. Sheffield would of been a first round pick if it weren't for injuries. I believe the same thing happened last year. This isn't Terry Fontenot and Authur Smith's guy. So he better be careful. Losing too much time won't bold well for his chances.
Called Sheffield being cut last week. Never put that athleticism together. Too much competition for him to miss time.
Ledbetter is always a scumbag
What’s good mad Mike I think Sheffield has done enough in camp to still make the roster but hopefully he comes back before the last preseason game to sure that he’s earned a spot.
I hate that I love the falcons so much hahaha but I'll be there cheering like always! Can't wait to see what franks turns into
Well here's my itemized take on all your points MM:
1. Yeah great the team is 100% Vaccinated, but honestly the league just strong armed everyone to the point of no choice if we are real and honest. Everyone has their opinions about C-19 so I'll leave that there.
But that's all the league did bc they lost their asses in revenue last year and want to make sure all the players will play and all the games will be played to help recoup some of the loses.
As players said last year bitching about a 17 game season, "Well if the league really cared about the health of the players then they would…."<insert bitching point here>.
So do I feel or believe these vaccines were necessarily in the interests of the players health–per se as opposed to making up for lost revenue? Not particularly, but we'll never know.
2. As for Kendall Sheffield, I'll borrow a line from what coach Smith said about Julio, "I can't worry about a player I never coached".
Sheffield was OK last year but got beat a lot too. In all fairness Kazee was three times the ball hawk Sheffield was and they cut Kazee right after the new league year started bc he tore his Achilles before last season was over. Yes it's good to have depth, but as I always say you can't help the club in the tub!
3. The O-line as a whole looked like ass last Friday. Granted half of them will be selling insurance in a few weeks anyway. Yes, we want quality back-ups if God forbids starter goes down, but you have to be at least good enough to BE a back-up.
Once McGary gets back I think we'll be fine. I have complete confidence that on opening day Coach Smith will have the best five lineman ready to go, as well as the back-ups. The thing is, after last Friday's game (all be it a preseason game) at least now you have tape to show critique and coach direction and correction.
It's hard to coach up in training camp when you haven't gone against real competition, but once you do, NOW you have tape to go off of and you can show where mistakes and victories were made.
4. As for Donte Fowler, yes I like him but he came here on the DQ hype train and never got off the train. I believe he was another DQ homeboy that was allowed to do what he wanted, bc he knew him so well even from his Florida days. Yes Fowler got injured last season, but even before that he was non-existent. He'd be in the game and another DL or LB would make a sack.
I think Fowler can be coached up to get back to his 11 season sack form, but it all starts with humility. Plus, with DQ gone he's definitely in PROVE IT territory unlike with with DQ, where he was in I GOT YOUR BACK territory.
Again, you can borrow that same line from Coach Smith about Julio, but with Fowler he is still here (bc of contract size) so we'll see how he takes coaching points.
5. As for the D. Led thing; he should be a Falcons beat writer like I should be an aerospace engineer! He asks the most asinine, rhetorical dumb questions in interviews and he's annoying as hell to listen to. Plus, he always seems to take the negative angle with everything, sort of like Terrence Moore used to when he was a Falcons beat writer. But asking Fowler about his brother is sheer unprofessional journalism, even in sports. That's like asking Tonya Harding how she feels about what her hired hitmen did to Nancy Karrigan at the figure skating competition back in the mid-1990's Just stupid shit!
How and why the Falcons keep him around is truly a mystery to me?
Kendall Sheffield situation will depend on the nature of the injury..
These reporters should keep it sports related. I believe Dante will bounce back and have at least 8 sacks in this scheme. The rotations at lb will keep our guys fresh down the stretch when we make the playoffs
He maybe on the chopping block I agree with that mad mike
I love it when you do videos like this very informing
