He suffered an injury that was so serious he had to miss a year. A crazy scary neck injury that required them to refuse vertebrate.

An injury so serious that Indy just let that man walk. One of the most valuable things in sports, a top QB, and the outlook was so bad they let him go essentially.

He went to Denver after recovering and lit the league on fire. It's a crime that the only ring he got out of it was when he'd declined.
