Can Thamel sound less self-important and arrogant? Most of the media are very fortunate to have jobs that dont have accountability standards. I stopped this at the 3:40 mark because this guy can care less about the future of cfb plus no one in cfb really knows what the future alignment will look like 10 years from now. Learned nothing i did not know already. I remember guys like Thamel from two years ago when they wanted to deny players from practicing their craft as amateurs, while still holding their "very important" positions as arbiters of public opinion. Thank god that is over.

College football is what it is. That does not mean I have to like. What NIL and the breakup of regionalism has taken the heart out of the game. Heart and amateurism are synonymous and the heart of college football and basketball is greatly diminished.
