I don't think they wanted to invest $7 to $8 million in Gronk this year. Gronk was a rare talent, but he was and is more a party and celebrity figure now. Coming in planned at a October come in at $5 million, was a more ideal, if agreed upon in June.

Gronk will stay retired. Any interview with Gronk just seems like his body is done. If you watch the highlights through his career he was a bowling ball, just throwing himself through tackles and players. It seems to me like he knows his body can't take it anymore. Brate and now Rudolph will now fill a portion of what Gronk provided. Rudolph has never had a QB even close to Brady so I believe you will see his numbers double even at his age.

Rudolph is a horrible signing coming from a Giants fan. He couldn't block nor create space. He's a glorified endzone threat. Dead money on a team.

I pretty much watch this show just for Shannon, seeing how most segments, I skip Skip's part once I start hearing what he has to say. But I'm going to have to just tune out of this show all together until football season start, because I'm so tired of hearing the same things about Brady, Baker, KD/Lebron over and over. I honestly think, Skip is just set on repeat for segment after segment lol
Makes complete sense for him to come back mid to late season unless they get off to a bad start in which case he might have to suit up earlier. If he still wants to play but, ultimately still worried about injuries than it'd likely be in his best intrest to sit out at least a portion of the season.
I think that's why Bruce Arians didn't want to do it , all the meetings and practices but you know they twist it to there being beef between Brady and arians
