USC had 1.5 decent periods with Carrol and Mckay that werent even close to a decade of dominance. Its has a great history, to be sure- but its no Bama or NOtre Dame. Its not Oklahoma or Ohio State. its a second tier school historically. Yes, it has great potential with NIL…. but it had great potential before NIL too

Geez, what a surprise. Colin criticizes Saban again. What a shock. It doesn't matter what Saban says, Colin will take a dump on him. This is the same guy that said Gus Malzahn would take Saban out and the same guy who said Jim Harbaugh will take down Saban. If you listen to Saban's concerns, he's right. And he almost always is right. NIL has been twisted and distorted into Pay-to-Play, which it was never intended to do. "Agents" are promising things to students to get them to sign, things they have no real power to give or not give. Some students are finding that out real quick, the hard way. Do you care, Colin? Nah. Let's bang on Saban for telling the truth. And Saban is right about megaconferences. You think there's no parity now??? Wait until the megaconferences begin and several teams are left out in the cold entirely. THAT"s what Saban is referencing, Colin. We're not talking about FBS schools. We're talking about schools that are currently part of the Big 5 that may get left out entirely. THAT's what he's talking about, Colin. It will be an even MORE exclusive club than it already is. Do you care, Colin? Nah. As long as USC and Ohio State are great, you don't really care. You pretend to care about college football, but you're nothing but an elitist. Megaconferences will severely damage many schools because they rely on that money to fund their athletic programs and provide scholarships to students so that they can improve their lives. Those that are left out will lose big time. Do you care, Colin? Nah. You have zero credibility when it comes to college athletics. Stick to talking things you actually know just a tad bit about, like the NFL and the NBA. Let people that actually care about college athletics and college football worry about it.
