Bro where is the Murch that shirt is too Dope
Great show
What up Tenacious Chiefs and the Beard of Destiny?!?
I'm very impressed you can make interesting content during such an uninteresting (and depressing) point in the football year. Well done sir.
Fantastic insight on potential cuts! This will be an interesting week to say the least for the guys. Excited to hear you fill us in on all the juice and drama that goes down. Gonna be a stacked squad regardless.
Ross….
Flash is a better WR than Juju and Hardman. If they cut him he will come back to bite them, mark my words
Cole the co-owner of derek carr😂
O comical, lyrical king of facial follicles…great show!
#HBTC!
U kill it brother go chiefs
I stand with Bernard.
I hope these guaranteed deals come back down to earth and will probably do so when some team gets hammered by a player that gets a career ending injury early in one of those guaranteed deals. Just imagine the position the Cleveland Clowns would be in if Watson gets steam rolled in one of his first games and winds up kaput with football? Yeah, we are talking so majorly screwed.
Thanks!
I think expectations for sky Moore are a little high right now..Name one rookie Chiefs WR that has had a great year under Reid's system..I know there's a lot of hype but there's a lot of unknowns too..He never played 1 down in division 1 football..Not to mention there was a huge red flag at rookie mini camps..He spent the whole.time nursing a hamstring injury..There's alit of what ifs in this WR core outside Travis Kelce
Another great analysis of the Chieeeeefs you freaking red bearded que ball. Let's go lets freaking go Chiefs!!!!!! Remember god only made a few beautiful heads, the rest he had to put hair on. LOL
OBj is turning out to be the problem child I thought he was going to be when we made the trade. Totally fair contract. Improve your game, Orlando.
Lamar Jackson IS a whiny baby, and that is why he will never win a championship. You heard it here first. He's insecure, and insecure people don't lead teams to championships. And, to Pollard … he got a lot of grief for that hit on Brady, that he didn't deserve. Dude was being blocked down while still going after the QB. If it had been anyone but Brady, there never would have been the "Pollard rule".
Baker will be cut. They will keep Bush, and hopefully Gordon will get snatched up by another team. Another experiment I never thought had a chance to work.
Keep up the good work, Cole. Your content is informative and entertaining. Which, come to think of it, is what you want on YouTube. LOL. Is it Chiefs football yet?
1: Brown was already offered more than he was worth. If he's so confident in his abilities he wouldnt need a fully guaranteed contract to protect him from being a bust.
2: Jackson's accuracy is suspect. he has to play in a very specific offense to maximize his "talents". also the other 3 former MVPs Clark mentions all took their teams to the playoffs again last year while Jackson had a 7-5 season during his games played. All that being said, he would still be in my top 10, I'd take him above Stafford, Watson, or Prescott. And even after a down year, if you can make a case for Herbert who has never had a winning season or been to the playoffs then Jackson deserves his spot after a bad year. As far as Jackson dissing Pollard… make excuses for his ring, at least he has one lmao.
3: Gordon has always been a roster bubble guy for me but I think he makes it. Chiefs carry 7. MVS, Juju, Hardman, Moore, Gordon, Watson, Ross
I'm a bit disappointed you didn't say "quarrel about it in the comments like we're Lamar Jackson and Bernard Powell."
Im excited for the entire nfl channel, this guy gives off tom grossi vibes
Cole, that was a lucid, intelligent, well thought-out argument with regards to Josh Gordon.
Wonderful year that year brady going dwn against us but we played the fool by taking garbage matt cassel bump ass so I guess pats got last laugh… and we paid him lovely smh , fooled us
Not mentioned in this video, but I hope we bring in someone to replace Kalen Saunders. Like, any decent veteran.
You rock
Bc gordon is stinkin up the place
After watching the highlights from the 2018 MVP year for Mahomes, what I took away from it was just how much Mahomes threw to Tyreek, which for me was surprising because he seemed to be complaining of not getting enough passes. Cole, do you have the stats on his catches from 2018 to 2022? I am beginning to feel a bit of regret for us sending Tyreek to the Dolphin's. He creates such another aspect of confusion in the secondary for every opponent and that is a valuable distraction. I hope Mecole can fulfill that spot but I just don't see it in him at this time. I guess Big Red is thinking that Mahomes needs to start thinking about using the pocket more and pass to guys that are tall and can out muscle defenders to win the 50/50 balls.
I don't know, it just seems a lost gem by losing Tyreek!
The Boldly Bearded Broadcaster of Chiefs News strikes again…
Idk if you're doing the Josh Gordon thing as a devils advocate thing or what– but ive been saying since last season. Gordon looks cooked. He didn't have ANY juice last year. And we brought in guys that excel at the same things he does.. And hes OLD. And sslllooooooww im a hard pass on Gordon. Give his roster spot to a younger cheaper guy who will actually play and bring something to special teams. Feel the exact same about blake Bell.
Aye– Forreal tho– bernard pollard used to bring his backpack with every hit. Used to fly around and hit like a missile.
A little something for the bro with the rojo face 'fro!
9:04 weren't those charges dropped for being fraudulent? Or are there new criminal charges?
Good take today
You're doing a moderately acceptable job. KEEP IT UP! Kidding, I'm only kidding. I love your show. Go Chiefs!
Pollard's hit is what gave us Matt Cassel, so I'll always dislike that guy in a way. If Brady hadn't gotten injured, Cassel never would have "led the Patriots" to an 11-5 record after Brady got injured. In 2009 we hired Pioli who traded for Cassel and Vrabel.
That being said, if the Pioli regime hadn't been such a dumpster fire, we never would have had Reid or Mahomes.
So I take it back, Pollard's hit on Brady got us Mahomes.
The thing about Josh Gordon is if he's cut I believe he'll join a condender and could make an impact. My first choice is I think he'd rejoin Tom Brady in Tampa and my 2nd choice is he'd rejoin Russell Wilson in Denver as they could use another WR
Hey Cole, go to Make A Wish Americas page from yesterday. A young girl qb got to hang with 15 and 87 recently.
I thought Hali did that not Pollard. Lol I guess it was 12 years ago.
I think Gordon will make it. (and when he gets hurt, The chiefs can roll out Ross.) I know its a business but Mike Vick and Vince Young tell me anything can happen with Big Red.
(also that vid of the one hand catch drill Gordon looked the smoothest. I think he will have the most sure hands outta all of them. Which is all I wanted ever since Dwayne "Jump for it" Bowe was jumping out of bounds.)
Josh Gordon number 1
I’ll just say NFLPA needs to negotiate making ALL NFL contracts guaranteed like most pro sport leagues. And another thing? Why I’m a chiefs fan but I HATE chiefs fans. Waayy too biased when reporting information. Always hating on other talented players. Too much chiefs cum in their eyes. Chiefs fans and commentators are far too conservative culturally and often miss the mark on providing perspective from different point of views. That’s all..
I think with Gordon, it just a bunch of speculation. Fun to talk about, but we’ll have to wait. Hopefully OB has a great year, cause it sounds like he left some $$ on the table that he’ll have to recover. 52mil injury coverage? Depending on the wording in the contract, that sounds like a great incentive, particularly since the top priority for Brown was family security. Youth does not translate into longevity. I mean look at Niang. He’s having trouble recovering from a knee injury, and is at risk for a short career.
Justyn Ross is definitely injured. Saw a photo of him on Twitter yesterday of him wearing a boot at a summer camp for kids. I think the caption said it was on the same foot he had surgery on once already.
There seems to be some bad blood 🩸 between Orlando Brown Jr and the organization itself because he didn’t take their offer. There’s a quote that “ he’s not the guy the expected” when they gave up a first round pick for him. I’m concerned Patrick will get hurt this season from not having an anchor on the left side. Possibly having a backup LT makes me nervous 😬. He’ll possibly sit out training camp and be unavailable for week 1. I’m concerned 😟 about whether he signs the tag or not.
REDWEISER!!!! THE KING OF BEARDS!!!!!
You want Justin Ross to take Josh Gordon spot on the team special
Knowing that the Chiefs made a fair-market and above-average offer to Orlando, and he and his agent wouldn't bite, tells me the Chiefs need to get ready to move on. If Orlando signs and reports on time, fine and well, but if he holds out, we should look at different options for this season. What's the point of "holding out," anyway? The only reason to do something like that would be to punish the team (he literally can't be paid an additional dime this year), thus proving he doesn't care about the team, nor apparently his reputation. Plus holding out and showing up late means he will not be in football shape and thus susceptible to injury whenever he does report — potentially hurting the team's performance and finances even more. Then brace ourselves to go through the same drama again next year? It's just unacceptable, and I can't believe the Chiefs are going to put up with this nonsense much longer.
If Justyn Ross is injured, prone to more injury, lacks special team ability fighting for a #5 or #6 spot, and still runs a 4.7 40 then I doubt he will be the steal of UDFA. It's a long shot. Ross is far more likely to find a spot on the practice squad or IR. I think WR 5. Justyn Watson WR 6. Daurice Fountain. Why? They are healthy. They are capable. They know the offense. They are good special teamers and No red flags. Omar Bayless might have a decent outside chance too if he plays special teams. I'm not too familiar with him yet.
I recommend you sprinkle in the word, “freakin” into your narrative. More freakin cowbell man 😂😂😂.
I think Josh Gordon is cuttable. Why would we cut him? Well, we have other players that we want that we might not get back if we dont put them on the initial 53. After that we can "protect" them until they are ready to play. Josh Gordon we have a good chance at getting back if we want him.
