I believe that a lot of sportscasters either are overlooking the Bear's or not playing up to the Bear's will have a breakout year way too much has been has been invested into the organization along with lot's of offseason work being done for them not to come out above 500.00 this year including the easy schedule that the team will have as opposed to last year so add all this up and if they make the playoffs fine if they come close to the playoffs also fine but above all else they will be much better this year all around !

Bears will win 10 games this season. The National media is a joke thinking the Bears will be the worst team. They will have an actual identity and a scheme which they did not have the past 4 years.
He is more liable to break his neck behind this line. On paper, this line is worse than last year's line. Without a solid line he won't be able to learn to read defenses and move through progressions. He will turn into one-read-Trubisky if he doesn't get better pass protection.

Josh Allen's rookie season stats are very comparable to Justin's. That said Allen benefited from staying in the same system with good coaching.

First of all, his completion percentage was so high on rollouts because he had so little of them. That’s like commending a guy for having the highest batting average when he only batted 10 times. Also, I would like to see the statistic breakdowns from the first half and the second half of those games that you are pointing out that he improved on. Because I watched every minute of those games, and a lot of those stats were compiled in the second half when the game was all but decided. If you squeeze the numbers hard enough you’ll get them to confess to murder
I think breakout may be a strong term but I do believe he will at least prove he was worth the trade to get him an he can and will be the guy

He passed the eye test for me everybody wants to throw out his numbers he was a rookie in a failing offense that head failing long before he was drafted. Yet he looked better each game and had some big flashes. His deep ball is as good as some of the best in the league and he can throw dimes on the move.
Negative thinking results in negative outcomes in all domains in life. On the positive, the closet and cob webs have been cleaned out. Finally the Bears know who is the dude before season begins. Uptick in O line with up tempo offense and bruising run game can still impact. An offense built around a mobile QB and speed used correctly. This can work and if all you got is negativity then talk to the Hand

I've been saying this all along: The Bears are gonna be the most UNPREDICTABLE team in the NFL this season. Most think they're gonna be pretty bad, others are more optimistic. But either way, all the signs point to them being the most unpredictable. A new coaching staff, new schemes, many new players and low expectations. On top of that, many of the new players that Ryan Poles signed are unproven due to lack of opportunity. Equan St. Brown wasn't given a proper chance in GB, with Adams, MVS, and Lazard getting all the playing time. Pringle was in the shadow of Tyreek, Kelce and Hardman. N'Keal wasn't utilized properly in New England and Velus Jones is a rookie. Also, signing a legit fullback gives Monty and Herbert a better opportunity to break out even more in the run game. And on the defensive end, I believe our secondary with Jackson, Johnson, Gordon and Brisker has the potential to be special. All this, plus Justin Fields' experiences from year one, are gonna make the Bears the most unpredictable team to watch and sometimes even gameplan for this season.
I feel like we gonna compete this year all honesty our defense got a hell of a lot better we addressed the need of offensive line I think we in a great position

I'd like to add Josh Allen and Lamar had, correct me if I'm wrong, the same system and coaches for the most part early in their career. So technically this is Fields rookie or first year in this system.
Not only does the data show Field's improvement as last season went on. But more importantly his tape shows it. The Tape Never Lies covers that like a blanket. And even seeing some of his workout footage he has corrected some of his mechanics.

It's clearly that you are one of those that think he needs "superstars" in order to flourish in the NFL. A great player "enhances" the average players around him. Remember that.
No matter what this will be a "breakout" season for Fields, maybe on the surface. This year is going to be a really good year for him compared to last year because of his work ethic, knowing he is the starter and getting the work he never got last off season. I think this year will just be scratching the surface of what Justin can do. People will seem shocked but should not be. Everything around him will be an improvement over his rookie season. The O-line,scheme, receivers, tight ends, a full back, starting all thru the off season, barring injury Justin will have a really good year.
Justin Fields needs to demand a trade. The bears will suck with the worst record in the NFL. Fields needs to get out before he is seriously injured. No o-line and no WR's. N'Keal Harry is trash !!!! Put him with Aaron Rodgers or Trevor Lawerence and see what happens…… He'll still suck!!!!
People playing these receivers we have may be one of the better groups of the league. I'm calling it here First. These guys from the line down will be well coached and play with heart n hustle. That is a winning recipe.
The Dark horse is Cole Kmet. Fields x Kmet might end up becoming a thing this year.
You're right Faiz, this is all about scheme. The scheme is the star. Bottom 5-10 offensive line was based only on Nagy's offense not the outside zone scheme. Not only are the Bears building this offense for Fields but also tailoring it to the strengths of the linemen. So with last year's guys you'll see them excel at this scheme OR they will be replaced by linemen that will fit.
