I think Justin should work on verbiage, and cadence on the line along with learning the playbook. I agree with Tom, snap count is important when it can draw the defense offside.

All this talk about Poles not getting enough playmakers isn't important as Fields learning a new system this upcoming season. Justin needs to learn the playbook first. Be patient sports fans.

Bears history teaches us that Matt Eberflus, in spite of appearances, is a most likely just a know nothing moron like the Matt who preceded him. But besides all that Justin Fields has his hands tied, considerably. He has few legit weapons to throw to and a shit o line. He's gonna have to get faster on his feet, grow eyes in the back of his head, cut his ball release time in half, and probably learn to fly, too. The Bears will suffer a humiliating fisting by #12. Twice. Again.

First thing is Fields needs to work on the things he sucked at last year. He couldn’t read defenses and even worse at reading blitzes, and he CANNOT go through his progressions. If the 1st guy isn’t open he puts his head down. There’s gonna be 7 1st round QBs taken this draft, hopefully the bears are drafting High enough to get one

Football is simple. If you execute the play correctly it often doesn’t matter if they know it’s coming. Saggy Naggy was always trying to be too complicated and too cute for his own good. They can’t execute so stop trying because you make them look incompetent.. This team should be more disciplined and I expect a lot of progress.

I am actually optimistic about the offense this year. I may be nuts, but just saying. Excellent RBs, Fields' on the designed play-action (his rating on such passes was excellent)…hopefully that also jells with at least adequate line and wideout play.

I can't stop listening to Tom Thayer. He reminds me of a Vince Lombardi disciple: “Gentlemen, we will chase perfection, and we will chase it relentlessly, knowing all the while we can never attain it. But along the way, we shall catch excellence.” ― Vince Lombardi. As a lifelong Bears fan, I am sick of mediocrity in vision of the Bears organization, coaching staff, and players.

Basically what I been saying… stop trying to pick a play and ram in down someone throat on assumption…. play the whole game. Start with your strengths. And keep your opponent on their heels or flinching. Take the space.

Those are facts. It don't matter if you have a lot of plays. But if you can't execute at a high level it don't matter. Thayer speaking facts. Great teams rn plays that people know what they are going to run, but can execute. That's a high level of success.

TTNL been saying the same things for years. Nagy would ignore the plays that worked and would continue to take Monty or Howard off the field when they getting 5-8 yard runs, and would wanna run gimmick plays all game. We never had a real identity. I think Poles and Eberflus will give the bears an identity and will emphasize performance over politics.
