Jackson State will lose their fan base if it leaves the Swac.. Its the HBCU bands that bring the fans. Why not take the whole Swac Conference to the FBS level. Jackson State average 40,000 before Deion Sanders.
Everytime I see these people who say that Jackson State should move up I know they don’t really get what’s happening. This is a movement among HBCU’s. We have our own table, we are allowing the world to join us.

What is he talking about? Jackson State is already Division 1 FCS. Not to mention our HBCUs stick together. You will lose the fanbase if you take away HBCU Vs HBCU games. Just look at how Tennessee State fanbase dwindled when they joined the OVC.
