Keshawn is dumb as hell. Earlier in this show they just discussed teams that threw the football 90 percent of the time and had some of the least rushing attempts in football and the Chargers were number 3. Number 2 in passing yards and 3 in TDs, and in the bottom 3 of rushing attempts but then he says Herbert is getting close to being a gun who can win without a running game. Clearly he didn’t watch the Chargers last year because there was plenty of games last season where they couldn’t run the ball at all and Herbert still led them to a victory just throwing guys open. He constantly contradict himself. Also, what Orlasky means by QBs you win with and win because. Yea there are games where Dak and Murray ball out and they win because of them, but if you were to take those two off those teams and replace them with half the guys on the “win with” list, they win just about the same amount of games. That’s not the same as, Oh well the Cowboys looked like trash when Dak was out and they were playing with a back up. Well yea, that’s cuz no one said Andy Dalton or Cooper Rush were on the list of QBs you can win with. Those dudes are trash. Dan doesn’t mean any average Joe could come in and play QB and win with the same team. The test is taking the QB you have under “win because” and replacing him with a “win with QB” and having the same outcome. And so many of them you wouldn’t, there would be a massive drop off. The Cardinals last year were absolutely stacked. That running game and Hopkins, Green, Moore, Kirk, Conner, etc…. There are a good amount of QBs who could come in and win same amount of games. When Hopkins went down, they couldn’t do anything. That shows Murray, as of last season, he isn’t a guy you win because of. He’s close, but he isn’t a guy who puts a team on his back and gets it down or leads his team on multiple game winning drives.
