Dionte's recent behavior seems like he doesn't want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler.. When I her after the season finished that he chose to catch passes by Mac Jones instead of taking Trubisky up on his offer to practice in FL says a lot. Either way, I'm not worried about the Dionte Johnson I mean I would definitely love to keep him and I hope he does blow up tremendously, but if we lose him there's always the next man up!
Missed option C for Johnson. You franchise him with the ultimate plan to trade him, if he has super star season, to get something better than a comp pick, which at most is a #3 pick. Look what Green Bay got for Adams – a #1 and #2. Not saying that you get that, but if he's a super star, I think you can get close.
We also have Anthony Miller on our roster if DJ doesn't work out
Steelers are a great franchise but the 80s did happen. Nothing is guaranteed. Steelers from early 90s through crafting Big Ben were relevant because of a top 3 defense, a top 3 O-line, top 10 RB. Big Ben put them over the top at first, then he was asked to carry them. And he did…. for a while. Making the Superbowl in 2010 with a bottom 5 o-line and Mike Wallace as #1 receiver was, imo, as great an individual accomplishment as Ben winning the Superbowl in 2005. But the coaching/surrounding cast fell apart from 2015 on. I ain't saying the rest of the 2020s are doomed, but it is entirely possible we could see a whole lot of mediocrity for a decade. That said I wouldn't be surprised to see them go 12 and 5, win the division. I equally wouldn't be surprised to see them go 7 and 10

Not nervous at all. If Dionte leaves we will be fine or better. WRs are a dime a dozen. If this offense finishes top 10 in NFL, then they should keep signing and drafting Defensive players until it's as good as any in Steelers history.
Stop messing around with tennis balls and start catching footballs. Why do the Steelers have problems with the receivers acting like divas?
I have my doubts if he's going to play this season. I believe its 50/50. Doesn't really matter though. We have some serious weapons. Would love to see him back and doing his best, but if he doesn't, its not the end of the world.
The Steelers haven't been relevant in awhile. There will be more voices needing to be shut up soon….they never went 6 years without winning a playoff game. This maybe the year.
