With the Lions bettering themselves on both the offensive and defensive lines, we could very well have a team finishing 10-7, 11-6 AND DOING SERIOUS DAMAGE in the Playoffs !!!!!
Yet some people like to sleep on the Lions and our arguably top 10 Oline. I've had people say we're in the bottom 5 of the league.
I think we got a top 3 OLine, can't wait to see how they do!!

I think Penei Sewell will be regarded as the best O lineman in the league at the end of the year.

O line is a big fucking brick wall hopefully our d line is the Great Wall of china.
People. This is why “building the line” is a losers bet. The ol is 100% cohesion and continuity, You need 17 * 5 games of perfect health. Er close to 85 starts in a season from the same 5 players. Please find me a team that can stay that healthy.
I get it. This fan base has had this hypothetical idea of a great line as long as I remember. Yet, the only truly dominant ol to win a super bowl was in the late 90s with Denver. And they had John Elway.
While fans have spent 40 years crabbing about the line, I’ve watched this team fumble literally 25 top picks on linemen who just never cut the mustard. To the point I know the fix the line thing is a cliche people repeat without knowing the resources already spent. Nobody likes to hear the Lions skimped on skill players for Stafford in the draft to pick up Reiff, Tomlinson, Decker, Ragnow and they had Gosder left over from the era before. YET, despite that Stafford went to an LA team with a patchwork line and boom.
This team is going about how to build a team with a very dated approach. Fans like it. But when is the last time it really worked here?
That’s why I keep saying: it’s getting worse before it does better. Ask Cleveland from 10-19 how well a solid OL worked.

My reason is Ragnow and Decker cant seem to stay healthy
can't wait for Penei and Hutch to battle in training camp.
Seriously, are you guys too young to know the Lions? This team will NEVER be any good. I've suffered with them for 50 years and I finally quit kidding myself. As long as the Fords own the team they will suck.
They have great potential, until they prove it they are top 15, but if they perform up to their potential then it's top 5.
