One thing no one seems to talk about, but has anyone ever mentioned any WR's from Liberty?
Great breakdown as usual. Willis relied on his cannon and missed easy plays in college. Maybe he felt like he had to carry the O a little bit. Outside of joint practices and pre- season Malik shouldn't play at all this year IMO.

Also, the biggest criticism of mahomes in 2021 is that he left the pocket early..among other things, they fixed it and went on to the afc championship.
Its really encouraging that his biggest weakness is processing in my opinion. I watched plays from many of Malik Willis college games and my biggest take away of all was how unbelievably dreadful his Oline was, there was quite literally a free rusher forcing him to move instantly and take his eyes off his reads on more than 50% of snaps! I dont think its crazy to think his processing and going through his progressions can almost instantly take a massive step forward if he just has some semblance of trust that he wont be instantly sacked if hes not avoiding a defender before he can even take a look downfield. Granted one of the biggest weakness of the Titans right now is their pass blocking imo so John Robinson has some work to do to help him be a superstar franchise QB, he certainly seems to have the attitude and ability to be one of the best. Malik's arm at best is in the low 53 mph range and is why he didn't pass the hardest throw at the combine. It is laboring throws. He needs all his body to make certain throws.
He misses the short basic passes just like most forearm passers who is essentially throwing curveballs. His elbow is gonna he vulnerable to pain over time. He has such a hi in air yards because he is short and they just let him throw it up allowing wr to run under them. He tuck and ran on short plays.
He's not running 4.4. 40 its more like a 4.6 /40 time as you can see chance Campbell running him down vs ole miss.
It's been a lot of miss info on Malik.
He's barely 6 ft. And throws with the ball under his ear which is short and easy to bat down. It's why he don't throw intermediate routes. Very short.
