My opinion has always been that baltimore had only a few years to win a SB with lamar because other teams would ultimately draft and trade to counter him, and also learn his idiosyncrasies (and it has worked). Also, running quarterbacks, like running backs, dont have long term durability. He is not mahomes, who has learned how to adapt and innovate his game, whereas the former hasnt.
Why is everyone checking Lamar's bank account it's like he won't get better he can make realistically almost if not more than 50 mill with the next two years last being franchised then if Biscotti can afford him get over 250 million for 5 years and just be 30

Lamar Jackson is the greatest QB in Raven's history. But Joe Flacco has a Super Bowl. Well, so does Trent Dilfer.
I watched this with the Steelers and Kordell Stewart. Jackson is better no doubt, but I'm not sure this is a Super Bowl winning team. Especially in the AFC. The Ravens will give him a lot of money to be sure. But behind the scenes I think they know that this style isn't going to work.

Lol Browns owner's knew exactly what they were doing by giving Watson that crazy fully guaranteed contract he knew he could weaken some teams that had contracts coming up for their franchise QBs in particular the Ravens and soon to be the Bengals and by weaken I mean potential strife created by holding out…the Dak and Mahomes and Josh Allen deals are looking pretty good right about now…
