I regularly watch Grant Cohn's internet show for insightful and critical content. He is one of the few reporters who regularly speaks his mind w/o regard to negative or positive crticism; he gives his honest opinion about the Forty Niners team its' players, coaches, and their performance. If you prefer to listen to only rah-rah, positive ass kissers go elsewhere. Listen to uncritical homers like Chiefs homeboy, Nick Wright.

Mac is goin union rep on this one, gonna defend a player in the wrong at all costs. The $ difference in NFL vs say USFL or AFL is a direct result of more fan exposure. Fan exposure = media exposure. Media exposure = you may not like what is said about you. The reporter is doing what he’s supposed to do: talking about the team in a manner that moves units. It sounds like this player wants all the upside of being in the NFL without any of the scrutiny that comes with it. It also sounds like he’s too mentally immature to handle adversity in a professional manner. Do I think that reporter is an asshole? Sure, probably. I don’t really care. If I were a coach or team owner, though, I’d be far more concerned that this news guy has my player thinking about his reputation rather than football.
