On a much much much lower level, I was the smallest starting linemen in my district at RG. We were horrible, but I kept my spot over larger guys buy my hand use and leverage. Kept low, explosive off the snap, hands up in their chest plate. Get their chest up and their done.
Learning curve. That terminology has less of a negative tone. Appreciate the switch
DL has to keep OL from getting to the second level blocks. Fred was having some trouble staying clean in the early part of last season. Kinlaw has tools to swallow guards…if he’s healthy.
If Jimmy’s shoulder is still tight, can you see the 49ers keeping him for a midseason trade, and not dressing for games?

i’m glad to see wholesome niners beat content instead of the instigating content some “other” local reporter like to report. being critical & providing insights are fine. but bashing a player & not providing any other input is just a move cowards take. lol

If the defense is top 2 or 3 we could run off a bunch of wins early based on schedule and that most teams defenses struggle early which helps us offensively.

Mcglinchey is he up to playing weight ? it was said that he looked thin,looked more the size of a tight end during his rehab this last season.
The 49ers are in trouble with or without Mack. Major question marks at every position except LT.

Aaron Banks is a LG drafted to take over Laken Tomlinson job. People wanted him to play RG but that would've been setting him up for failure. You can't just switch left or right side.
A good example is Penei Sewell. He looked lost at RT but played pretty good when he was moved to his actual spot on the left side.
