I dont think they should leave Seattle but…they could. It would make some sense in some areas. They do want to diversify wwhere the teams operate from, right? Germany, Canada, Mexico, etc. Its not crazy to think that they could move cities but…I personally dont see it happening. Who knows though, anyones guess is as good as mine.

Lies! Elon Musk will buy the team and move us to Mars! Ok that out of the way, I think there would have to be a good reason for an owner to move the team and I just don't see it. Of course, people said Russ wasn't going anywhere too so anything could happen, but we don't even know if this article is really the truth or not.

I live in between Los Angeles and San Fransisco here in Cali. I don’t want the Hawks to leave Seattle. But if they do… I wouldn’t mind them going to San Diego.

The League will NOT follow the NBA's failure with the Sonics. It won't happen. The only way St. Louis or San Antonio get a team is the NFL opens up (4) new teams. Two will go in each Conference and then 4 more later on to balance out the league. Yes, eventually 40 NFL teams will happen. I see Iowa, MS, OK, Nebraska, St. Louis, San Antonio, Kansas, and probably Utah getting new teams. I think the NFL needs to fill up the Midwest with teams. It will shorten up the travel distance times around the league.

Brock Huard came out in response to Canzano and said it was his understanding that the Seahawks and there stadium lease made any sale before 2024 all but impossible. He believes it will likely happen if it happens 2025 or later. He also said there are different dynamics at play contractually between the Blazers and the Seahawks and are two different situations entirely. A change of owner is not in any way imminent Brendon. A sale may indeed happen but probably not before 2025 at the earliest. I'm still not convinced she has to sell though or if she does that she can't set conditions and also keep a piece of it. Blazers ae a different matter i think they will be sold long before the Seahawks.

Also interesting that the timeline of most of the contracts we have now seems to fall in line with when this team is expected to be sold. Might also be the reason she was in the war room during the draft, to ensure there were assets enough to make the sale of the team a better price for the trust. She may not have allowed them to make any off-the-wall picks as they normally do, to stack the roster for the pending sale. Most if not all the current moves this off-season seem to line up with a goal of selling within a 2-year window. Let the new owner front the money for any new contracts and that.

Well after Paul was laid to rest I felt like this was always a possibility unless… there would be someone or something that could make them extend a contract or find a loop hole

you are losing all credibility, when you say things like "The Seahawks may be sold and moved to another city. Sold? Yes, probably soon. Moved? Not a chance in Hell. Why, and where would you move them to, that is a better city of support than Seattle. The NFL would not tolerate even the thought of such an idiotic move. Seattle is one of the model franchises and cities that sparkle for the entire NFL. There are no cities in America, that would, or could equal what the city of Seattle brings to the league. A new ownership group? Yes. Move the franchise to another city? Put the Bong down.
