Man this has to be the first time I've been exhausted by a draft lol. I'm trying to remain positive until I see what the coaching staff can do with this team.
I will say some of the picks are making me nervous with current players. Didn't see the need for a RB or DE right now. More like Center and WR.

Why are folks so press for a WR when we got killed on defense?? Rams literally won the SB with one WR over 1,000 yards which we know JJ going do that easily without injury and the next was 800 yards and even a old Theilen can do that healthy. Maybe Kevin likes what he sees in ISM and Osborn, give them a chance b4 we automatically criticize a offense and position that wasn’t the problem. I mean didn’t fans scream ALL year how Zim didn’t open up the passing game smh

I'm with you on the last pick and first pick especially Cines.The only game I saw the Golden Gophers play in was against Wisconsin as both teams were pretty equal last year.
Perfect pick, a late round guy that can play a role on the D line, different from the guys that we already have. Replaces the role of Richardson – who we may get back in FA.
Only about 10 guys o. That list will make the team. Lynch an EDGE?? That's kinda laughable. I see E.O. as a down lineman, at almost 290 with a strong base. There's only going to be maybe 5 IDL (or 4 IDL, 6 EDs) on the team. If only 4 IDL, it probably comes down to EO or Lynch . I see Smith, Hunter, Wonnum as 3 of the EDs and definitely Robinson. Jones and Willekes are on the bubble, IMO. Jones wasn't very convincing and Willekes takes forever and a day to reach the QB.

Nice 3-4 5 tech DE who can hopefully set a hard edge and get him some A Fraud. He'll compete with Patrick Jones II and probably be able to move inside on passing downs.
Man looking at the list of d lineman interior or edge were gonna cut a few guys that have potential or are fan favorites I hope they all could put out good tape so we can get some value via trades maybe

Will be "developmental" for the team. Probably be rotational with a hope to be a stable starter. I see him peeking as ben f in the top 80% in his position. Not the dominant force but one who contributes positively. An asset that will not suck up cap space.
Vikings have a history of passing over Gophers in the draft. See draft 2000 when legacy star Winfield was passed over for ahem, Jeff Gladney. So happy to see this guy even though you could have had a 385 pound tackle. OOOOOps.
