Cooper kupp ran a 4.67 or something like that and look at what he can do. I think we are doing to be just fine with david bell, and i just watched some highlights, he gots some pretty good hands and hes pretty creative with his route running.

So both the people that picked WR AND DT for the first pick are wrong. Why? WTF is with CB? I have to agree it seems like overkill at the position, and ignoring every other need. Is Emerson going to play special teams? D on that one. I think David Bell is going to be great though. Alex is going to be more developmental. And you're telling me Perrion Winfrey is still available??? Am I missing something here?

Why is it a big deal for them to go corner? I don't know about that specific guy, but have you not been listening to Andrew Berry? How many times does he have to tell you that his emphasis is long term? How many times does this organization have to tell you that they feel that you can't have enough corners? When will you start to listen?
Good corners are costly. If all of them are so good, how do you think they can pay them all? Of course they can't. So, in a few years, maybe Troy Hill is gone. Maybe AJ Green is gone. Maybe Greedy Williams is gone. If this guy develops, then he slots right into the rotation.
I'm okay with Wright. He's fine. Hope he develops. Can't teach size and speed.
Bell is fine. Watching his tape, he actually looks a little like Jarvis Landry. Who also ran slow at the combine.
Justyn Ross is still available. Dude is a monster and has great tape. Granted, most of his tape is from 2019. He's been a walking injury. But he has the type of talent that you can take a chance on in the 4th. And I think they need to address DT and OL. Perrion Winfrey is still available at DT.
I'd give the draft a 75/100. Lots of developmental talent with upside. Still some good talent available.

I'm saying before the wr pick I gave him a D-. With this wr, I was a little high on in the draft not gonna lie, thought for sure he wouldn't of fell to us but the fact he did, I'm pretty stoked. So I'm giving it a C+. If he drafts one more decent receiver, like a Justyn Ross, I think it can go from C+ to B+.
DT Travis Jones was right there at 68. DE Zachary Carter was right there at 78. And TE Cade Otton was right there at 99. These Draft Class would have gotten a A+++. But the one Berry did, gets C-/D+. The David Bell pick helped his grade alot.

I don't think AB viewed this draft as one to "fill needs." He's looking to fill future needs. Like several other AB mid-round picks, Emerson and Wright are being groomed for 2-3 years from now, not 2022. I think Bell will work into the rotation early on.

Bell was in my opinion the best receiver in the B10! He doesn’t drop balls I think it’s something like 11 drops in three years. Outstanding route running and knows the complete route tree because of the offense that Purdue ran. And finally he comes down with what seems like all 50/50 balls he is just Mr dependable! Y’all got a baller in 🔔
