Outside of the safety selected, this was retarded. I guess they're totally content on going into yet another season with a putrid running back group. They're not going to find a quality starter from here on out. As much as people would like to convince themselves that you can find quality running backs in the later rounds, you don't. Outside of the occasional miracle, your going to find a backup in the later rounds. You find quality RBs in the first and second rounds . When's the last time the Texans had a quality running back group with some depth? 10 years? Foster/Tate?
We have kenyon green who has opened up holes for isaiah spiller. Hope we take him and defensive tackle or edge early in the 4thround. We should also get a blocking te we can develop into a pass/block stud.

As a Texans fan in Tuscaloosa, I'm ecstatic. I've strongly felt that draft pundits and YouTubers alike have been sleeping on Metchie. Dude can do it all. Harris is an exceptional athlete who just needs to learn Lovie's defense and he'll do great things. And not for nothing, but I had Petre penciled in at 37 as I figured Breece Hall would be gone.

Looking at some of the best athletes available using RAS, Calvin Austin III 9.43 WR, Zamir White 9.02 RB, Charlie Kolar 9.11 TE, Dane Belton 9.37 S, Tariq Woolen CB 9.68, Zion McCollum 10 CB, Brandon Smith 9.98 LB, Damone Clark 9.86 LB, Darrian Beavers 9.75 LB, Chris Paul 9.43 Gaurd, Kellen Diesch Tackle 9.79. Based off how much of athletic freaks these guys are, I would be happy with anyone of them being drafted day 3. Especially Tariq Woolen who ran a 4.26 40, had a 42 inch vert, and stands in at 6'4 205 pounds. Calvin Austin III ran a 4.32 40 but he's undersized at 5'9. But there's a chance he can be a return specialist like Trindon Holliday. Zion McCollum ran a 4.33 40. Zamir White ran a 4.40 as a RB. I also have to include Daniel Faalele who didn't post a 9+ relative athletic score, but had to include him anyways. He's 6'8 384. He's going to be an absolute wall.
Menchie is a ? Mark for me. But really the only wr I would like more is peirce. But nick gets a thumbs up for day 2.

This is my personal opinion but Nick lost my trust when Williams fell to 12 and he didn’t attempt to get him I like metchie but he’s not Williams even the maybe we could’ve got both if we traded cooks and then next yr get young in my opinion they would go crazy
They definitely got it right in the second day I believe everyone of this players drafted in the second day will have a big impact.
I think the Texans draft is a disaster.. not that the players they picked are not going to be good assets.. but the problem is, we are not taking the best players in the draft.. first round, Stingley vs Thibodeaux.. Green vs Davis.. you could have FIXED the D Line and we blew that.. both would have been better players.. and we passed on them for lesser players.. second round, we take Petre.. not a bad pick, but I would have taken WR Pickens.. and even when the Texans moved up and took a WR, Metchie.. they passed over Pickens who was higher rated in the draft.. If you liked DeAndre Hopkins, you would have loved Pickens.. but now you got Metchie.. again not a bad player, but we are leaving again better players on the board when we take what we take.. LB Harris was a solid pick.. no problems with that pick.. but some of the other picks.. not making the best choices.. you fix your defense starting in the trenches.. DT and DE.. then LB, then CB and then S.. that is how you go about drafting and making the best impact.. You can have the best CB's in the world and if you can not put pressure on the QB, it will not matter, they CB will not cover the WR forever.. and you are going to be ran on all day long… its like a nose bleed which never stops.. stop the nose bleed first.. then go about fixing other things..
