I don't understand how there are still SO many critics of the Packers scouts and Gutey drafting. We have seen them CRUSH the top of the draft. Aside from Love and Jackson, they are nearly perfect at evaluating the talent at the top. They STILL have today to add to positions yall want.

Seems to be a good pick. I think we need a special teams return man, and another WR, TE, or RB just to add depth.

Uneven deal with MN to get Watson per Hill trade value chart, but so what, no WR at that point in the draft had Watsons size/speed/RAS, good move Gutey…GB DC Joe Barry uses alot of two LB sets vs one LB sets with Mike Pettine at DC, so allegedly Quay Walker should see the field on 50% or more snaps…if true, then the Q Walker pick has more justification…a trade back from #22 into the early 2nd Rd with the Jets & taking George Pickens plus the Watson trade would've been better, Steelers got an excellent deal with Pickens at #52 & GB needs more than one WR from the 2022 draft, but maybe Barry gets the most out of Q Walker & maybe Pickens keeps getting flagged for goonery like at Georgia, if that's the case then Gutey got it right passing on Pickens…N Dean is productive but will be limited in the NFL, Walker is clearly the better long term LB prospect…GB prosciutto thin at TE going into Day 3, another WR or CB/S needed also that can KR/PR, Watson being a Returner is way too risky 🧀

Agree 100%, top to bottom. The relative value of some picks were circumspect. I truly believe we would have been better served to trade both round 1 picks down to round 2 and load up there . . . but I'm not Gutey. I felt the quality in rounds 2 & 3 was there to want to maximize value in those two rounds.

Yesterday he was saying that walker wasn’t a good pick now today he saying he’s great pick. We don’t want to hear his opinions we want to hear straight facts and what packers are gonna to put him that’s gonna help our team..

I guess things depend on your definition of positional value. I go by the old Ron Wolf definition of high value positions – QB, LT, CB and pass rusher. The whole point of taking Wyatt is to add pass rush. His value isn't as a 2-down run stuffer but as an inside pass rusher, so to me he is a "high value" positional selection. Walker, I would agree, is not great positional value unless they plan to use him as a blitzer as a LB in a base nickel alignment. I'm rationalizing a bit but we'll see.
