David Bell is the exact opposite of Anthony Schwartz and I'm certainly glad at that (Bell has borderline 1st round tape, but like 7th round timed speed…where Schwartz game tape reminded me of a 7th rounder, but he had 1st round timed speed)

Honestly it was awful. Deshawn will be suspended next season not this season. I understand drafting for the future but you also have the biggest opportunity of winning at the highest level this season. Before the big contracts hit and you have to start cutting players in order to meet the cap. I felt like they should have gone with more ready to go talent. We needed a super athletic wide receiver and instead we get a worse version of Jarvis Landry. I understand the need for potential but when your window is the highest that it is ever going to be, which I firmly believe is this season, it makes no sense to go into the draft and not pick the biggest position of need right away. Especially when arguably the best player available is at that position. Instead teams now don't have to worry about our really good corners. They will just continuously jam it down our throat until we plead for mercy. It makes no sense to not try and go get a homerun guy who will push you over the top.
David Bell is gonna be a Dawg! Y’all watch and see he is Jarvis’s replacement. Don’t sleep on that pick. He is so so SOO productive

After watching the film of these kids I see big stong kids that don't fear away from contact . They look like the agressive players in every play I seen , I love it. As long as our QB doesn't turn over the ball with a run heavy offense I have no problem going defense.Shore up that middle. Bell's highlights have him making a lot of amazing catches I see nothing but translates to NFL on these picks.When these guys play the are the aggressors.These guys enter the best of the best and will not shy away from contact. Ward looks good but I would tell him to try to play like Deon Sanders and not get injured so mutch.
I am not so sure with the first two picks in Emerson & Wright are developmental prospect if Wright turns out that would be Huge but it's too early to tell as for the Bell pick he's coming out as true Jr who produced all 3 yrs as a starter for Purdue that dude is solid Wr. I am much more sure about him as propesct then the other two, he catches everything thrown at him open or contested da dude has hands❗So he may be a replacement for Landry & that's fine with me cause the dude produced over there. The run on Wr's was real unfortunately this year but in the end I am glad were abled to grab him when we did cause he definitely is on the end of the top teir talented class of Wr's & there's not much left after him so he's gonna be solid addition that I am confident about y'all should go check out his tape he's gonna do great things while Amari stretches the field..
I bet y'all this… Bell will beat out People's Jones and take the 2 spot that is only if the Browns do not decide to actually bring back Landry I think it unlikely but I look forward to seeing Bell eat 🥣 ps I hope we grab DT Perion W 2 maro🤞

Everything about David bell sounds like a young Jarvis Landry.
I wasnt particularly disillusioned from Bell’s combine numbers, but his tape did show he does lack a lot of speed on the field. Bell is definitely Jarvis’s replacement, but I don’t think he has the same prospective route running Landry had
this is a bs draft while our whole division just got 10 times better.. same old browns who can't draft.. there was no need to move out of 2nd round for what? a corner who slow and got burnt often a slow wr and a garbage de….??? yeah he smart ..smart dumb!

I'm sorry but Barry shit down his leg. Had Metchie, a day 1 starter on the board, and trades back, let's the Texans get him, and drafts someone who will be the 4th string at BEST. Terrible
I like the David Bell pick, and I LOVE it at 99 – that is just crazy good value. For all the people that think he is too slow, you only think that because that is what you were told. Search his career highlights here and watch the film, and then come back and tell me he's not a borderline 1st round talent. He probably has the best hands in the draft. He knows how to go get the ball. Watch the tape. This is a great pick.
The first two picks, I don't like. They may be great athletes and may develop into stars. But you could have gotten them later in the draft. They would have still be there. And you passed on some really good talent in the spots you chose them. I especially don't like the Emerson pick, just because we are already so deep there. Maybe both these guys will be great down the road, maybe even sooner than I think. I do think there is potential there. But even if that turns out to be true, I still think you could have gotten them both later in the draft.

people are whining act the cb pick, & although is seems odd, greedy Williams is a ufa next year & there's no way the browns can afford to keep him. he'll get starter money somewhere next year. also, the trade back for more picks wasn't necessarily a bad idea being we lost so much draft capital in the watson trade.
I'll keep it short…meh..we will see i guess…I wasn't a fan of trading down so far off 44 for late rounders, then our pick….back at 44 there were alot of dbs I would have loved.

Emerson will replace greedy, that’s the reason they went for his size and tackling ability.. can see him being used like Seattle used Richard Sherman

Hope it works out for all of them but I think Berry and Co were trying to be to clever. Developmental players yes probably won't do much this season so why not stay at 44 and take Ojabo/Metchie ready to go next season or Pickens now? So many better players still on the board after these picks the ravens took who the browns should have… Ojabo and Travis Jones are going to be difference makers for years to come.
