Who gives a shit about Jett’s
I like the players…I just don't where they got some of them …is that that the critique mostly?
This draft class gave us Wilson to Wilson and Pickett to Pickens. Legendary.
Panthers next!
That Edge rusher from Texas A&M looks to be a steal
Go Jets!
the jets havent won a game in september under JD he had to pick wilson over williams cant afford to wait
Won the draft
Salah is head Coach ulbrich is d coordinator
Love your content and agree with you on a lot. I wouldn’t have taken a running back in the second either and I would’ve taken Thibedeaux. But I’m ecstatic about this class. But I respect your opinion, none the less.
This is literally a perfect dream draft for me, except switch Wilson for Jameson Williams. Let's go Jets!
J E T S we will compete believe it lawson back beckton back yr2 coach n qb lets ride
J E T S✈️✈️
I think its an A- on paper. While breece’s value at his pick is arguable, along with jermaine, theyre basically making it to where, unlike with darnold, theres like 0 excuses for wilson. Like he may not play prolifically this year but he cant be the same, worse, or hell even halfway better. I think he’ll be top 16 this year n get the jets to like 7-10, 8-9
As a Jets fan, I'm thrilled we got Breece Hall. I get all the concepts about RB not being as vital. If you watch the games, you see Coleman and Johnson get a bunch of rushes that dont move the team. We were in too many 3rd and 8's on offense. It's incredibly fustrating. I'm a big fan of Michael Carter but he's not built to handle a huge workload as evidence by his injuries last year. We did the most important thing in the draft and free agency. GM added weapons everywhere. This is the season for Zach WIlson to make a huge leap.
This draft class does the most important thing! It lets us know if Zach is our Guy! He's got weapons Darnold had wet dreams about. Sorry Sam, your still getting the broom handle without Vaseline. We will know by October if Zach is the Guy, next year's QB class is to good piss about.
I am a jets fan with bias goggles, but your critique either feels too harsh or incomplete. Like when you were talking about Wilson, I think you had valid points where he is very good at everything but might not be elite at anything, so it seems like you like this pick but don't love this pick. You did say you'd take Jameson Williams, but obviously he's hurt and won't be able to practice at training camp and won't be able to play until like week 8. I also understand that you don't love Johnson, but who would you take over him at 26? Same with the Breece Hall pick, like all the players that were flying off the boards were safeties and LBs, and those are also low value positions. Who would you have taken over Breece Hall, I was thinking Nakobe Dean or travis jones, but they also took nose dives in the draft for medical reasons.
You should take snippets from all the teams and condense it into one video to get mainstream views
Yep, getting arguably the best CB, best WR, best RB, top 3 Edge, top 2 TE, is nowhere close to 'amazing' — they didn't get the best QB as well, so definitely not amazing.
Breece Hall is a message for Wilson: you have all the weapons, if you miss also this year, we'll move away from you. We so many decent QBs around you can't wait 3 years for a player to develop, even if you are the Jets
It's a good draft for the Jets. Not nearly as good for the guys who got drafted. You can't fix the problems of dysfunctional ownership by changing the employees. The Jets' real problem is the Johnsons inserting themselves into team management at bad times to make bad decisions, through a cycle they create. They don't appear to understand the football business and don't seem to trust their executives and coaching hires for more than a few years. The result is a recurrent cycle of owner anxiety that triggers a major change of plan every three years: we need a new X which will fix all our problems, with the X being variously a skill player, a coach, a GM, a stadium, or whatever.
The Jets had a good draft this year because of where they are in that cycle. Ditching Darnold and drafting Wilson shut the Johnsons up for a year or two because it made them feel something was happening. In a season or two the Johnsons will be back at it.
The players drafted here are getting sucked into that dysfunctional cycle. They are literally naive kids just out of college who are going to work for a bad company, and it's more likely that the company drags these kids' careers down than that they save the company from itself.
Jets absolutely destroyed this draft im pretty sure its the first time in history the jets got 3 players rated a 92 or higher since ESPN and scouts started keeping track.. even last year they had 3 players 90 or better but this years draft was on another level.. no one came close idc what anyone says .. bro ur gonna eat ur words about what ur saying like u really think hall is a bad pick???? Dude are u not getting where the jets got these players and how they got them???? They drafted people that were all really high on there board .. having 2 running backs that are elite u need in the nfl this day an age and he might even be better then carter .. even Johnson how they got him and filled another need is just an A+ alone
And yea ur saying what so and so did in college and how certain things were but when these teams draft they think about how they will perform in the nfl and under there system so they can be even better in the nfl and have better traits for the nfl.. the one thing joe Douglas and coach said was that Johnson is gonna be perfect for the way they play and is gonna fit in so well and clearly Gardner will and then running back they forSURE got the best one.. tight end i can bet if Jeremy was on another team he would have put up the best tight end stats i bet and i truly believe Wilson is gonna be a star.. he plays way taller then he is from his vertical and how high he jumps.. his body control is insane and his catching ability is just amazing.. i think the jets hit big time and not only drafted talent but DAWGS just like free agency and last years class
I heard the opposite about max mitchell also i heard hes really good with his hands and very powerful so idk where u read that one i just heard he is raw and needs to be worked up .. your insane tho im literally mind blown that ur take is that and i actually enjoy your content but man doing what the jets did and how they did it i just dont get ur take and u realize what the jets needs were right?? And u realize what these players were graded and ranked and how the jets got them.. im seeing stats that its like the first time in history the jets getting all the players they did and how they were graded
You have to understand they loved Breece Hall so much they tried to trade up in the first for him
IF U ONLY KNEW +++++ SEE FRANKI ANALYSIS
Jets are building the slow steady way
All good points. As a Jets fan obviously I absolutely loved this draft. I do understand the trepidation with the Breece Hall pick, after the initial excitement I was left with a little bit of mixed feelings as well. RB isn’t a huge positional need, and there were still some great choices available at safety and LB which are huge needs for this Jets team. That being said though, I do completely understand and agree with the philosophy of drafting a guy who will take the load off Wilson, as well as Michael Carter, and should really help open up the play action as well as be an asset as far as catching passes out the backfield. Another aspect to it I’m surprised nobody has pointed out yet is that the Bills definitely wanted Hall, and if he fell to them we would have to see him in red and blue two times a year. So while I definitely wouldn’t have made that pick myself, I can’t possibly be upset with drafting the No. 1 RB in the draft.
Another thing I haven’t seen people point out too often is that the Garrett Wilson pick was definitely made over Williams, and any other WR for that matter, because he was the most NFL ready WR in this draft. Dude’s style of play fits our system perfectly and he will need minimal development when compared to a guy like Drake London. While Williams may turn out to be the better WR, his injury may make him unavailable early on in the season and maybe even more importantly this offseason. Wilson will be able to practice and build chemistry with Wilson (lol) all offseason long and they should be able to have a connection coming out the gate.
Ultimately, you could see that JD’s philosophy was getting players that will make this team better from Day 1 of next season. It was also to help Zach Wilson as much as possible. From a Jets fan who has seen so many QBs get thrown to the wolves with no help, and has seen enough drafts full of developmental players, I am extremely pleased and excited to see what it will bring us next year.
I love the Draft, the Breece Hall pick is gonna go a long way to preserving Zack and making him better, we now have speed all over the field and playmakers everywhere. JD flipped this team wonderfully
Ty Johnson had three dropped balls in a single game. I think 2 of them were on third down. But he was the best option at RB because of injury. I’m more than happy to have Breece Hall on the team
pleaseeeee…. only hall will prob stand out this season from this group…. you should listen to saleh fool… it comes down to execution… the said that same about Wilson but he obviously sucks… and will continue to suck… he aint got the vision
I think it’s A+, at least on paper before we see these guys in game action. Getting 4 guys who will get significant playing time out of the gate. Arguably the #1 CB, WR, and RB. Walking away with one of the elite edge rushers. I’m also big on Ruckert who has pretty big potential. Add in Mitchell who people seem to think has solid upside and there’s the chance that, by the end of 23-24, the Jets could have 6 starters from this draft.
I just hope the fanbase is patient with this team. While there is now a ton of talent on the roster, this is still an incredibly young and inexperienced team. There will be growing pains, but I’m confident they are turning a corner and have the potential to be great.
i would give it a b+ to a-. drafting a RB early round 2 will never be an amazing pick to me. we also didn't address safety and LB so can't give it anything better then a A-
Totally disagree jets had easily the best draft and I am a Texans fan
Tim Andercust must be elated with this draft.
BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
The Brice Hall pick is my fav of the picks. You’re thinking WAY too conventional. Not able to think outta the NFL box. Usually I like you’re opinions but real weak here dude!
