It was a dumbass pick, period
It was a reach stop being pc
Who at 16 wouldve been better at the wr position than him?? There isnt one. Go look at his film dont just depend on what these dudes say. He is way better than “solid, or dependable” hes a big play waiting to happen. Horrible take
Kyle Hamilton was on the board and they traded down and took a second round player……………….. I'm pissed
Have you seen him cut? Y'all clowns
Well when PSU played OSU he outplayed both the guys from OSU so
Joel Klatt knows more than y'all do
Kept saying he was an okay route runner the entire video and then completely switches up and talks about how he can get open. Go watch any tape and the man is leaving corners frozen with the footwork. The more I watch the more I love the pick. On top of picking up a 3rd and a 4th
It's a really horrible pic we should not drafted a receiver. We need help on defense the best safety in the draft literally fell in our laps and we traded back WTF!!!!!
I had Dotson over Olave. This was was my top 4. London, Wilson, Jameson and Dotson. Since Jameson got hurt I switched him with Wilson. If he hadn't gotten hurt. I had him as the second best wideout. Dotson isn't as fast as Wilson or Olave. But I think he did a really good job running to the right spot on deep cuts. Instead of just keep running deep for a hail mary type pass. He would cut to open space where defenders weren't covering. And get 30 yards. Will he be elite. I don't really think so. But with Terry on the other side. He can be really good. I think any of the four would have done good in Washington because Terry is on the other side. If Terry wasn't on the other side. I think all them would have had trouble in Washington. I'm not saying they would play bad. They just aren't ready to be the only option. Besides Drake, and that's if he can stay healthy.
You’re telling me we drafted a #2 wide receiver at 16
I’m in the middle with this one. I think we could’ve waited for Pickens and maybe Watson. We could’ve gotten a really good lineman in that area or maybe the best linebacker in the draft.
Worst pick of the Draft this…it's better if they just took Watson
How can anyone bring more to the table??? These PFF guys are funny. They're not the bible for the NFL. Combine players don't translate to being a good football player. Broad jump, cone drills, shuttles and all that other BS don't mean squat on the field. Dotson is a football player. Period!
The real question is who did we give up to get him. That’s what hurts.
Have these guys even played college football calling Dotson “generic “ 😂🤦🏾
What a terrible take by both of you guys, Dotson is beyond explosive and you guys will have to see it this year.
I love it when these PFF guys freak out because they are clueless about how to do their job. This guy ran a 4.4 40 yard dash. That is smok'n … Jerry Rice ran a 4.7 and Kupp ran a 4.6. Learn your craft. This guy is as good as Garrrett Wilson.
How can you guys not love this his route running?
How can you not see his explosiveness if you actually watched his tape?
Remember, he was their offense and had a crappy quarterback
olave will be great. huge mistake. one of reasons Rivera will eventually be fired
4.4 speed is normal huh Lls
Stats don’t lie
2 white dudes talking about Dotson lmao
For the life of me, I do not understand how Chris Olave is viewed as an acceptable pick at 11 but Dotson was some massive reach at 16. Similar Route Runners minuscule difference in size and speed, while Dotson has vastly better hand, he's more physical and more elusive after the catch and he was the only threat on his offense, receiving all the attention and best CBs of the opposing defenses, with a mid-level backup QB. Olave on the other hand had a 1st round QB, possibly a future #1 overall, a current 1st round WR and probably a future 1st round WR helping to spread defenses out and ending up against the 2nd best CB at worst and put up very similar production Dotson with slightly more receptions and yards with Olave having 1 more TD. All that aside, if you still think Olave is better, that doesn't mean Dotson is a huge reach. Most mocks had him going between 19 and 30 so 16 isn't a horrible reach even at the 30 end of that. I was all-in on a bigger trade back and for some defensive pieces like Dax Hill and Jalen Pitre but Jahan Dotson was still a good pick and great addition to the WR corps that now gives Wentz Terry, Jahan, Curtis, and Dyami to go crazy with.
