On Mike’s side with this one. Jameson Williams when he’s ready has (in my opinion) one of the highest ceilings of anyone in this draft and they needed to at least take a swing and they did.
Williams will be a Hall of Fame type player – he will have a Randy Moss type effect on the offense. Book it! Hutch is the leader of that defense as of today.
jameson williams IF HEALTHY mightve been a top 5 pick. hes a Devonte Smith with probably 10 pounds and a little faster.

Jameson clocked over 23mph in the SEC Championship. Rare guy. And not just a speed demon. He's also an animal who played gunner on special teams for Bama

The draft is nearly always a pure crap shoot. Hence the reason why you should stockpile picks in the first 3 rounds. The more you roll the dice, the better chance you hit on one. I don't like the idea of giving a divisional rival a high 3rd round pick here. Not to mention moving down from 34 to 46 in the second round while Nakobe Dean is still on the board. I think trading down with that 32nd pick would have been the best move. But, as with all drafts, I could be wrong and Williams could end up a Hall of Famer. Just stating my opinion here. Maximize the odds you hit on a player by having as many picks as possible in the first 3 rounds.

Jameson made Georgia secondary who all ran 4.3s look like they were sleeping. As far as his injury it's a non factor. Alim McNeil is the reason they didnt draft Jordan Davis.
At 46 hope Nakobe Dean is available
Jamo was #4 at OSU. Dropped balls. Granted he had a great yr at Bama and the 3 ahead of him at OSU are amazing. I hope the best for him, but for goodness sake, slow down. I see the drafting of the hurt college player backfire more often than it works

I was definitely a Kayvon guy, and I think the Giants got the best two players in the draft, but still very excited to see Hutchinson. That trade up was phenomenal. Was surprised they didn’t have to give up more to move that much. Go get Walker now. Offense is going to be really good for their QB of the future.

Last playoff game we were in Calvin had 200yds receiving AND WE LOST!! I love Jameson’s talent he’s a beast but stop over valuing the WR position. We could have gotten Cine at Safety and still added Pickens or Meechie at WR! We have holes to fill so I would have kept those picks. So we now have an elite rookie receiver without an elite QB to go with him🤔. If Goff goes down this season that’s it cause that qb room doesn’t have a competent back up based on what we’ve seen this far.
The lions are building something special. Just listen to what I'm saying. They're not going for name guys just yet. In the 1st round od course. With pick #46 they took Joshua Pascal. It's says DE but he is a DT. They're building each level one draft at a time. Then with the #97 pick they selected safety Joseph from Illinois. Next yr will be linebacker Guard Quarterback Cornerback Tight end Running back. In 24 they will go get the shiny tos and names. Playoff bound for the next decade trust the process.

What Mike doesn't understand about the people who criticized him for his takes on the Lions is that we are not criticizing him because his takes are usually negative. We criticize him because his takes are often so overwhelmingly negative that they're just lazy.
Most of the time it just devolves into, it's bad because Lions.

Jameson Williams has already ran a 4.4 40 in rehab. Not close to 100% yet either.

100% agree with Rico. I wouldn’t be mad if Jameson sat out the entire next season to get healthy. If the lions can get Stroud or Bryce we’ll be great.
