I’m fine with Pickett. I’m hoping to see a nose tackle, safety or wideout next.

Love the show, Chris. I think Kenny was the right pick at 20. I think when it gets to their picks in rounds 2 and 3 they should take the best player at WR/o-line/defensive back on the board at the time. These picks along with the free agency pickups this off-season will make for an interesting and exciting upcoming season.

I love the pick, but I was surprised I thought it would be Willis If we went QB in the first round, I also don’t think Pickett should start, I think every rookie QB should sit their first year, but I’m hoping we get a NT or WR today!!

I loved Pickett at Pitt. And the Steelers organization basically lived in the same facilities…..if you can't put trust in that analysis what can you put trust in? They obviously went out scouting other qbs because they didn't think Pickett would be available. But given the opportunity….you pounce!

Quite an indictment on the QB class. One QB taken. Hopefully Pickett uses that as a chip on shoulder and prove he is better than the experts thought. Who is going yell "small hands" after Kenny zips a pass where only the receiver can catch it? I'll be watching.

I watched 7 Pitt Panther games in 2021 including the game vs Clemson so I got to see enough of Kenny and I like him. If any steeler fan says that they are shocked that the steelers drafted a QB with their 1st pick, then they have not followed Tomlin, Colbert and crew during the scouting process after the 2021 season ended. They did make me think that they liked Willis more but I'm fine with Pickett. It was one of those 2 to me in the 1st round

That's bs Ben was a horrible deep ball thrower Wallace would be waiting for the ball…everyone waiting on Bens deep balls unless he hit you upside the head and dragged you in the bathroom

He doesn't have Bens stupidity, Bens propensity to throw intz and get strip sacked. We went to 3 superbowls with Ben and he never threw more than 17 regular season tdz, Ben was so overrated

Not sure about this one. I think we could've had Picket in a trade down to pick up more assets. I don't think he beats out Trubisky this year and his best asset sounds like leadership, which we all know is earned in this locker room. I'll be patient and review this pick in a year or two.

No it was not the right pick the should have drafted a offensive tackle 🙄 it makes sense!!! You have to protect the quarterback for him to play !!! Just ask big Ben he got killed his whole career!!!!

Everything just said and still they made the wrong move they only got him because Pittsburgh love white QBs and they already knew him from being at Pitt for 5 years that’s right 5 years and only had one good year he’s a one year wonder to me period

here’s my thing… it’s possible Mitch gets the job.. he’s embracing the leadership role, inviting those QBs down to FL to work out (#3-RIP).. and may have the tools to get it done.

If then let’s assume Pickett wins #2… he’ll be 25 when the season starts.. if he sits for 2 years will he still be worth it at 27?

We knew Willis is not as polished, but I have no problem having him sit for 2 years to learn, then handing over by age 24, and his upside potential I feel is greater than anyone’s on the roster.. like Marino, he’s got a cannon arm those others don’t and he’s a better athlete

Bottm line, Pickett needs to start SOON

Even though The Steelers drafted a second QB in the 7th round, Kenny Pickett will be the starting QB come week one of the new NFL season,Mitch will be the back up, & Mason will be 3rd string if he doesn't get cut?

The rotator cuff and four muscle group in the throwing shoulder can be easily strengthened in the weight room. I'm sure Pittsburgh is aware of this. Kenny Pickett could be a hell of a quarterback. Go Steelers!

No Carter Pickett is not as "fast" as Willis or Lamar. But he is faster than Mahomes and Allen. 4.67 speed would outrun all QBs in NFL but like 9 or 10. I have never seen a QB run a 4.4 and win a Superbowl anyway. It is called Quarterback, not Running back. They throw the ball remember
