You cant base your opinion on what other teams are paying a particular player while NOT considering our cap number to pay A.J. We offered 16 with the incentive to get to 20. Also, if you over pay A.J., how you gonna extend Simmons next year since we're already capped out?

I would prefer a retool at this point. Tannehill and Lewan off the team after this season. Maybe Dupree depending on this year. Get rid of those contract give some more cap to compete in another 2-3 years.
Brown was good but he missed time his first year cuz his chest was hurting, then he missed a little time the second year he said that he had bad knees all year and not one me but both of them, and last year he missed about six games maybe more, so at this point he wasn't worth 20 million dollars or more. This the first time I actually said it because I don't like to get in people's business, but if he would have came in played his best had a good year and showed and proved that he was that level of receiver the way Harold Landry did and just kept grinding and proving it, the Titans would have made something work, but he went about it the Cam Newton and Odell Beckham Jr way, giving contract information out on Twitter and letting videos of contract talks leak and not showing up for training, he did everything that you're not supposed to do if you're trying to get a raise on your job, but nowadays people just bark loud like on social media and sometimes like brown, they get what they want. I'm happy for him and wish you could have stayed here but he wasn't a team first player he was more about the AJ Brown show I guess. The Titans are not paying anyone the max at their position but they will pay you a good price like Bud Dupree and Harold Landry and Derrick Henry and Kevin buyer and Ryan tannehill, none of them made the max for their position but they all got fat contracts, and I'm sure the Titans probably offered AJ Brown or 4-year extension for 78 million with about 40 million guaranteed over the first two years and he said no, he got 57 million guaranteed over the first two years with Philly, so he gets his 30 million a year the next two seasons I'm happy for him, but the eagles have a lot of rookies
Harold Landry stepped it up big time last year he showed that he was a complete player Not only was he involved in the past rush but he played like he was a hell of an inside linebacker the way he was tackling and getting tackles for loss his QB hits and his sacks, he was responsible for at least four winning games last year if he can play like that for the rest of his career he's a Hall of famer and he really misses a game and he's been playing with us for over 5 or 6 years and has maybe missed four games and all that time, AJ Brown you don't know when he's going to be there and when he's not

No we have to have receiver Bobby trees is not a number one receiver and the rookie may need time to develop the Titans need to get a top veteran wide receiver immediately. And not some 37-year-old or a guy like Julio Jones past his prime. Somebody at least 27 or 28 years old that looks good enough to maybe sign for 3 years
But if they don't sign somebody else trailer burst has no choice but to go out there and be the number one LOL but I believe he could do it, I didn't know who AJ Brown was until the browns game, and this guy played in the SEC and carried the whole team on his back, any team in the SEC with a player good enough to ride him as the team's MVP that player must be great

Damn, it will be tough to cheer for this yram the next 2-3 years. I hate rebuilds. Just watching all the good guys go… by end of next year we will lose Lewan, Tanhehill, Henry, Fulton, Simmons, Dupree, Autry, Cunningham, Woods, etc…And while doing that no decent veteran will want to sign with us. So we will start collecting top 10 picks, just as we used to… Then we fire the GM and coach, and the next ones will look for a new QB… What a waste!
More info has come out. Brown's agent was asking north of 25 mil a year. And was asking for 80 mil guaranteed…!!!
What happened to our fans… I get wanting progress but does anyone remember what we were. AJ Brown was a casualty, and let's be honest woods had a similar season with less games.

You can’t compare positions lol! Edge against WR, Come on man! Landry played all 16 games and AJ didn’t even break the 1000 yard mark , this is a running first team. With the draft done I believe we have a super bowl defense. If Henry stays healthy watch out!
