In my opinion, today is the key. A lot of great talent that the Patriots can get. Hopefully they trade up to get Dean or Booth, and also hopefully they don’t go back to the 2018-2020 Patriots kind of drafting 😩
Hopefully on day two guys the patriots do better trade up and get Nakobe Dean or Andrew boo Ananda get John met you somewhere in the middle third to help Matt Jones it’ll be better I hope.

Belicheck needs to stop thinking this is 2004 fam. This guy can be good but you Do not skip out of elite talent still on the board. You traded Shaq Mason for a 5 round pick just to pick a guard in the 1st round that has 3rd round value doesn’t make sense. Yes he is athletic and can help Mac but you could got Christian Watson in the 1st it would slightly be a reach but it would made sense. Belicheck has to hit on every pick Friday and Saturday because Robert Kraft might have that talk with Belicheck.
yall do know that most of our success came from players who have been drafted in later rounds or undrafted stop crying about the top guys of big named schools and we still got 10 picks left we lost good OL we got a solid one back with alot of picks left.

1. Yes it was a reach, but he is a really good, tough football player who is a really good athlete and is a great run blocker. Based on how the board was falling there was a chance he wasn't gonna be there at 54 and once you get past Stange this guard class isn't deep at all especially compared to CBs and WRs. If the didn't trade down and took him at 21 THEN we would have problems, but the is just good process. He is gonna be, AT WORST, a solid starter for the next 4 years.
2. Yes everyone wanted Andrew Booth but he isn't a scheme fit. He is a more zone oriented corner and New England runs primarily man. You can get a Roger Mccreary or a Jalen Armour-Davis is the 2nd or 3rd round who are much better fits for the Pats.

Kid played well at the senior bowl to prove his excellent tape wasn't just vs lower competition. Hes a nasty throw back player, he gets to the second level quick and combo blocks well good athlete smart and coachable.
Hes very versatile hes played allover the line, played for six different coaches even played 2 games at center in emergency I love that kid.

The Patriots normally find decent offensive lineman in the draft but teams get criticized for reaching when you could have grabbed this guy in the 2nd or 3rd rnd.
I'm super mad about this pick but if he becomes a beast in the nfl this would prove the draft is lil bit to gased up and the draft gets looked at too much for star college players
People forget the pats have Dante Scarnecchia scout their lineman and he jus happen to be the greatest online coach of all time
