A selection like this has associated value. Synergy with Carter, scheme fit, the help it provides Wilson and hopefully his confidence and development. All of that matters. He was taken right where most mocks I had seen prior to the draft valued him. Love the pick.
You can definitely “reach” when you have so many picks. I think rbs might actually be undervalued now
Jets are the FUTURE.. one of the best drafts i ever seen as a jet fan
If the kid is a 1000 yard rusher it was pay off big time.
This is the right move to make imo. You either take Hall with all the starpower in the world, best RB in this class. Or you take a positional need in a S, LB, or OT who could just be solid players or maybe backups. I think I'd rather cash in on Hall with this pick. I couldn't be happier as a Jets fan with what they did in this draft.
Getting Breece Hall was a great move. By far the best RB in this draft.
Jets get an A+
My Favorite pick from the J-E-T-S! JETS! JETS! JETS!
They need talent playmakers so they did what they had to do Solid A for them
Everyone in the comments disagree with this guy. He's completely clueless because the jets just balanced their offense with the pick
Now that we seem to have acquired good players lets see how they perform in the system that the Jets have. The Jets usually have good off seasons. Lets see what happens when it is time to produce. Do they get a better product on the field?
Trent Richardson also sucked at running the ball haha
Didn’t 2 running backs go in first last year??
He reminds me of Freeman McNeil.
You could say the same thing about 'positional value' for CB at #4. But all of these stagnant precepts of the draft process ought to mostly go out the window in today's NFL. Accumulate high end talent, make it fit under the cap, coach it up, win games, is the only relevant philosophy for this league now.
Considering Zach Wilson threw about 25 incompletions to running backs because they can’t catch I’d say this was a great move
You were wrong with the positional value of Breece Hall. When was the last time the Jets drafted a featured back? I have watched Iowa State football this year and he was the offense. This kid is worth a first round pick
Let me tell YOU , you got a long way to go … STILL can learn the game of ""football" but don't give up sometime one Day you will be a good scout or GM… let's GO jets
Getting two yards more than an average rb is a hof’er lol.
You're on the couch making videos and the football guys are making picks.
