Green was a solid pick
If Stingley wasn't taken at 3 there's a strong likelihood he wouldn't have gotten past the jets at 4. So it was not a reach at all to take him where he was selected.
I'm disappointed with both picks for different reasons. At #3, you want a "sure thing". Evan Neal was the surest thing on the board. He'll be a monster. Stingley missed too many games in college to use the #3 pick. At 13?, yeah, now you accept a risk or two. As for Green, he doesn't project as a LT which was why I wanted Neal or Iggy. He'll be a RT or guard. Would you pick a guy at 15 who can only be the off-tackle? I went into tonight with two picks in the top 13 and thought we'd get two foundational player. At the end of the night, I feel they still didn't get a foundational player.
I always wanted stingley. Green was a good pick. Hopefully we get a RB

Caserio controlled the draft… He went corner the next pic was corner he went interior offensive line then the interior offensive linenen started and drop however he got his top picks in both areas
If it was best player available, fine… If they’re tweaking Lovie’s system to put him on an island and overload everywhere else, fine.. If they’re gonna play him in cover 2 the vast majority of the time, not fine, I don’t care how good he is..
I love addressing the interior Oline, but was surprised it was Green.. That’s ok, they’re the experts..
An important point I wanna stress is they got their top guy at both positions, so time will definitely tell about Nick Caserio’s judgment..
Jury is still out on Stingly Jr. I wished they stayed focused on the trenches.

I guess with no tackle taken early, we can assume coaching and management are good with Howard at tackle (I also like the move). I am curious as to what made stingley > sauce and Green >Johnson? I thought both latter prospects were generally considered better
Why did you say we acquire an extra 3rd round pick in the trade for the 13th pick??? I’m pretty sure that was not the trade and this was – APRIL 28 TEXANS TRADE 13 The Eagles have traded picks 15, 124, 162, and 166 to the Texans for pick No. 13.

Yes , but next picks need to be running back, either breece hall or Kenneth walker and after that, they need to get a pass rusher, safety and receiver.

Picking Stingley is a dare to be great move. It’s basically that the Texans are thinking that Stingley will be a generational CB talent. It’s exciting that we may finally have a shut down corner in franchise history.
I wouldn't mind Andrew Booth at the top of the second.

Everybody forgetting Stingley has generational talent not just good CB like sauce haven’t heard any one day sauce is generational that’s what separates him from sauce he has better technique ball skills and faster than sauce his family full of athletes. Green gets to stay home in Houston and ball great picks

Stingley better b n the conversation with the other great DBs that came out in recent yrs the Steph Gillmores, Sherman, Pat Peterson, Revis he doesn't get a pass when ur the 3rd overall pick I dnt wanna hear excuses bout injuries. Caserio on the record sayin there comfortable with Texans doctors evaluations he better b n the conversation at the end of the yr as the best rookie DB n this class especially if he plays all season.

On paper it seems they did well, but you don't win games in May so we're gonna find out lol. I don't get the comments with people calling either one of them pro bowlers or calling stingley a generational talent. They're going to have to prove it
