Grade the selection (A, B, C, D, or F)
C and I have a similar opinion.
He’s a draft riser who is one of the best DL in school history, was a nightmare for other SEC teams and was double teamed every game.
I love this pick. Strengthens our trenches. B+
Campbell like his Linebackers.
Literally thinks Anzelone, Davis and Barnes are going to anchor his team.
IF they dont draft LB at 97.. You guys have to blame Campbell directly.
Then during the season we'll see.
It's a bad pick. As usual. We need how many DEs? It's a low D, majes no sense
Do we even have 1 startabke LB?? Please don't tell me Anzalone
Pass rush won’t matter if our LB and secondary can’t cover nobody!
D for dumb
Don’t understand Holmes sometimes
Need LB Safety
A team with out a QB really smart
Y
I grade it an A because pressure from the D line helps all the levels off the defense.
A. Brad has proven we should trust him. Get onboard or shut your mouth
I never heard of him
Y being very good on the D line can never be bad
Great 2 rd picks .nice fast, big tough players .. We getting straight LION players.
It's not really about us approving it I trust Brad homes after last year and the way we develop young talent I think they got the guy they wanted I'm extremely happy..
I think if they wanted this guy he would have been available later in the draft. We needed a safety more. Kerby Joseph isn't going to cut it.
B+
How are you going to complain that we took him too early and then say "there were players like Malik Willis we could have taken". Lmao everyone that got tricked by the media about Willis are refusing to accept they were wrong about him. Dudes trash like I've said from the beginning, it's easy to see if you watch game tape and not his pro-day. All that being said lol we need a LB way more than another D-lineman.
He was the heart and soul of Kentucky défense that all i need to know
Like it. Production speaks
C but you do build a team in trenches. Versatility on scheme ….just go get Rodgers!!!!!
Trade up 1 spot over the ravens and get ojabo!!!!! But should have never passed on dean, idc about the medical stuff get dean.
Wtf did dean sleep with goddels wife or something 🤦🏼♂️
Y, Paschal would not have made it down to the 3rd round I was told.
What I want to know is dean’s injury that serious idk why he dropped that far down by every nfl team
Can this guy play linebacker?
maybe brad isn’t itching to grab a linebacker for a reason.. i mean look who’s still out there in free agency kwon alexander and plenty of solid dudes on day 3
Had this guy played at ND, OKLA, Mich, ALA, LSU, OSU he would have been a 1st rounder
Y
Unbiased huh!!! Give this great coaching staff a chance to coach them young L.B and D.B … Unbiased mean you don't give them a low grade because you think and or want a diff player or position.
Really LIKE this pick. This kid has the IT factor. 3 year Team Captain, Slippery getting off blocks, explosive, strong, can play multiple DL positions and great character kid.
I was gonna quit comments about sports. Especially the highly violent game of US Football. I always burnout for the violence. I like the team building aspect the most. It's just I wanted to mention- DE Josh Paschal and DE AIDEN HUTCHINSON in the same draft reminds me of DE Tracy Scroggins & DE Robert Porcher in the same draft.
A. It was a smart choice
You can speculate that he'd be there @97 but I highly doubt it. I don't think he would've made it to the 60s even.
I have to disagree with AG on dinging a "safe pick" in the 2nd. 2nd round is still an area where I'm good with a rebuilding team choosing a safe player. The Lions still need reliable talent.
Additionally, while Paschal's ceiling isn't crazy high, it's still well within the range of a high impact player if he reaches it. That poor Gators O line looked like Tina Turner after Ike had one too many drinks. He's a baaaaaad maaaaaan!
Thanks for the vid. While I might disagree with a few things, I appreciate the content from all three of you guys 👍
Hindsight 20/20, yes. This pick makes sense. But it didn’t at first. B+.
