Baker is getting his $19 Million no matter what. He can sit home until someone needs him bad enough. Either way the Browns own him and have to pay him. Just releasing him my business sense and I have 40 years of it now retired tell me hold on to him until someone needs him this Season. There is a good chance someone will and Jimmy Haslam can recoup either all of his money or some of his money 💰 on what he is loosing on Baker. Why pay Baker to play for someone else. Jimmy Haslam is not a Stupid Businessman. $19 Million and anyone could retire on it young so could Baker if he never plays again.
This has to be the ultimate humble moment for Baker nobody wants to trade for him they rather draft rookies or roll with who they have on roster

Baker isn’t going to be joining the Browns on any of their activities so I find it to be a minimal distraction for this team, we can wait a little longer to achieve a little leverage on one of these teams and get something in return.

Baker had his chance against the chiefs in 2020 and he couldn’t get it done after Pat went down. And he can’t have an excuse for being hurt after you throw a 70 yard Hail Mary against the cardinals and play well against the bengals but suck against other teams 3 interceptions in the first half of the Green Bay game then a fourth one in the fourth quarter when you have a chance to put your team in position for a field goal then turn around and complain about play calling in Pittsburgh where you say they left you out dry with a rookie tackle. Well if you know he’s a rookie getting beat get rid of the ball! My advice to baker is if you get another chance at quarterback in the nfl don’t try to make the tackle after an interception!
No chance Browns are cutting Baker. They only lose in that situation. Hoping to trade him for a 2nd or 3rd, pay half the salary and move on. With paying watson little to nothing this year the Browns can take on that burden. Reality I think no one wants to deal with the Browns because of the max deal with Watson. Owners and gms are mad at us.

We really don't 'need' a slot receiver – you already have two on the roster in Hunt and Felton. Redesign the offense to get them on the field at the same time as Chubb. Hunt's numbers will explode – Stefanski needs to take him out of the bubble wrap and use him the right way.
