A lot of people are down on this kid because he’s a little raw. But I think a season under the wing of Fletcher Cox is gonna help him a lot. So much potential here!

I’ve heard many pundits say they don’t know what to expect from him, and bring up that Georgia had depth, had many blow out leads by the fourth, and gave him a limited snap count…That being said, you can never count out an individual with a story. Wasn’t highly recruited out of high school, was overlooked in his graduating class, and became one of the best DT prospects in the draft…They said he is too big, yet decided to shed a few to show what he is capable of producing at the combine. When you combine dedication and passion, with the purpose of wanting to prove to all of the doubters that they are wrong, you get a person who will move mountains to achieve anything that they put their mind too. Simply inspiring, and in all, an amazing pick given how Fletcher Cox is now up there in age. At the bare minimum, he will help fill in for Cox when he is gassed, and will be able to collapse the pocket, which is something that Cox was fantastic at doing…He has a phenomenal person to learn from as well. Just like Jordan Mailata has Kelce to learn from, Davis now has Cox! Really wanted Hamilton, but can’t be mad at this pick.
