i mean, we got deshaun at 12. the 13th pick is valuable af. the draft is deep, let someone trade down. dont force it.
Unless someone is “put your job on the line good”, there are too many holes on the team to give up anything above a late 4th round pick. Teams are built with 2nd round and 3rd round picks.

Everybody wants to be the GM. Why make this so complicated? You have 2 picks in the first round for the next 2 years for God's sake! The last team to have this type of luxury of picks was the Dallas Cowboys in 1989 the result was 3 Super Bowls. You can't get greedy and mess this thing up! We are hurting badly at cornerback! #3 pick should be Sauce Gardner. Trade back or up for what! This team needs Playmakers at #13 either Chris Olave , Garrett Wilson or Jameson Williams will be available! Not trying to overthink the pick! This team also needs a playmaker running the ball. Breece Hall or Walker will be available. After that fill in the holes on offense and defense. Texans are going to get impact players no matter what in this draft but if you confuse and complicate things you can make a swing-and a -miss.
If you can get Sauce and Kayvon or Icky? Then do a trade. Or Aiden Hutchinson and Sauce? You definitely do it.
