We will take a linebacker just like the last ten years prior to Najee… 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
Ok here it is. Its Malik. I think mistake. Not him but qb im general.
1. Our biggest weak spots last year DL and aging HOF Qb. We sort of fixed Qb i like Mitch young and mobile just what Canada wants.
2. DL Tuitt man i love Tuitt but hes a big ???? Our DL couldnt stop the run. Heyward is best in business he just cant do it alone. If you are positive hes 100 and Wormley too go Wr
Picking a QB in round 1 might be a panic move. Many believe if Trubisky were in this years draft he's the first QB taken off the board. Well we already have THAT GUY! Steelers need a plug and play starter at #20 now!
I think Colbert should set the next GM up with tools and give him the luxury of picking his quarterback
I hope they take their quarterback next year and focus on receiver defensive line and secondary and maybe draft a running back out to Michigan Haskins to pair with Najee
Deke, Good choice, Willis would be better for this organization moving forward!!
Even if there was the slightest chance to get Pickett, I would pass. I want someone who wants to compete and loves competition. Not someone who will abandon the team because there ain’t a personal benefit.
Do you guys think there's a 1st rnd RB this draft or has the league changed so much its irrelevant???
I agree trade up Get Willis, Pickett is OK but I wouldn't want to put that pressure on him being from Pittsburgh, the pressure could be to much
ZERO qb's will make the STEELERS a better team in 2022toomuch bias to Willis, Pickett is not a good choice, STEELERS need to get back to normalcy-winning
Defense or a wr please lol
At least Rudolph isn't our starting QB if the season started today lol
Tomlins smile was ear to ear but the Giants didn't exercise the 5th yr option on their QB
I like how testicular cancer is a “cool theme”. 7:02 Moats sells it, though. Sells it.
If we take a QB ….it's gonna be Desmond Ridder …because Malik Willis not gonna be there ..I think Ridder is better anyway
If we take Olave and being a Buckeye l love the move but it would also mean Johnson will not be getting the deal he's looking for. I don't see Steelers offering over 80mil. Now with that being said l don't see Edmunds returning next season nor Alualu/Tuitt so Davis or move could still be major.
I hope one of these high rated safeties fall to 20 unless DT Davis is available.
I really believe picking any of these quarterbacks in the first round is a mistake.
I highly doubt Davis will be available at #20. That's the only guarantee I feel I can say is that he will not be available at #20
I honestly prefer Ridder out of the top 3 QB's, if we take one. I don't want to move up to take him thought, as one mock had us doing (up to #12.) Its true Malik has a higher ceiling, but Ridder's ceiling is good too. Ridder is not quite the athlete, but he's no slouch. Ridder's floor, though, is also much higher than Malik's. Ridder is far more polished and far more experienced against a greater level of competition. Lastly, Ridder does not have a height issue: almost 6-4 to Malik's barely 6 foot. My fear with Malik is that its easy to mix up athletic and arm talent with QB talent. History has taught us they are not exactly the same. Right now teams are blinded by his athletic gifts, but Malik is really, really raw and untested against strong competition. I feel like we've seen this kind of prospect before, touted as having a rocket arm and great athleticism, but needs development. Many never pan out. In a perfect world, Malik is a second day developmental/upside pick. One could say the same for Ridder, which I acknowledge. I just don't think as much development is needed. Now, if the Steelers are sold on Malik and draft him, I'll be happy (but not if they move up more than a couple spots). The Steelers will have taken a high reward gamble at the most important position in football, which I can respect. The proverbial "swung for the fences." Its true he could become a right handed Michael Vick, but its also equally true Malik could easily be EJ Manuel. I just think the athletic gifts are overshadowing how raw he is. In any event, I would not be moving out of #20 and would be looking to move back in the 1st and acquire an extra pick.
They aren't taking Olave
