I'm too gun-shy to take Tyler Linderbaum. We have had enough centers that need to add bulk and strength in the Pace era.
Kinnard is an OT till he proves he can't be one.
Kinnard can't bully his way through an NFL career. So if he is not athletic and has no technique then pass. I didn't catch that his Combine scores were all bottom 25%.
Now Strange is my man. He is athletic and a prick. There are a lot of older prospects in this draft due to Covid 19.
For those who don't know Linderbaum, he pinned Tristan Wirfs in High school Wrestling. Look at Tristan Wirfs Pro Career. He is the same size at the best center the bears have had in the last 2 decades in Olin Kruetz. Centers don't need to be huge nor does poles want huge OL. He wants athletic OL prospects and Lindy's grade in PFF was the HIGHEST OFFENSIVE PLAYER IN ALL COLLAGE FOOTBALL LAST SEASON AS A CENTER! You cannot tell me that doesn't mean something. If he's available at #39 take him and allow him to be the anchor for the bears OL for the next 10 + years and move Patrick to Guard, a position he's played before at a high level. By now we should know that Promises to players that they will be the starter at any given position are as empty as my kids cookie jar. Look at the promise made to Dalton last season. Need I say more?
