Gotta love how Wiley tried to make him look better by finding the individual stats he may be slightly better than other QBs at but leaves out the context. Aaron Rodgers did have .3% less completion percentage but 13 more TDs and 3 less INTs and 111.9 rating which is about 10 higher.

How are the "higher highs" with Kyler when he absolutely choked in a Playoff game? Baker at least won a playoff game. Kylers performance was one of the worst ever seen in the playoffs.
There should be an early contract extension penalty on players and should cap them from being a top 5-10 player paid at their position. That way players will be more likely to honor contracts also make their contracts fully guaranteed that way it’s a win win for everyone

When the going gets tough, Kyler ain’t. A lot of players can be really good when everything is rolling. Some can be even great in tough times, I don’t see that in Kyler. He doesn’t seem to energize his team mates or being the one elevating the whole team when it’s tough. I wouldn’t give him a big contract until he has proven much more of leadership and being able to handle obstacles.

This is the problem with the NFL today as far as contract values go. It's all about the individual stats and not the end result. Aaron Rodgers choked away another playoff game. And there was no pressure on him to win. He wasn't facing a top QB that could have made him look bad. He was facing Jimmy G. He folded against Brady last year because the spectre of the GOAT was on the other sideline. But despite all his distractions and theatrics and not winning the Packers gave him a $50M/yr extension. Dak Prescott? Ain't won squat except for coasting in a bad division that the Cowboys have basically owned. These guys aren't worth the trouble they bring.
