Well, they better start imagining because if they don't sign him to a new deal and run him through the meat grinder again next season on his rookie deal, the he will be gone. The fact that they haven't signed him to a new deal means to me that they're probably going to try to deal him on draft day and draft another receiver. It's so funny to hear all these 49ers fans telling Deebo to take a hike and complaining about him so much. The truth is that Trey Lance is nowhere near being able to run their offense and if they don't have a read-option style a play calling with Debo carrying the load, then they will easily miss the playoffs. That trail and steal they pulled off is going to set the franchise back for a decade because he will never be a legitimate franchise quarterback. More like the second coming of Jim drunken Miller.
