Samuel showed his true colors the way he was acting. I don't want a player on the Niners roster who doesn't want to be a Niner. Be sure, if you pay Samuel he'll cause same trouble next off season he caused now. Niners don't do themself a favor keeping him. Btw, Brandon as the better route runner will become #1 target and weapon for Trey, doesn't matter if Samuel is on the roster or not. Most of the Jets fans are fine with the 10th and one of the second rounder for Samuel. If the Jets FO is willing to pay that price, do it. Samuel has the highest value now and at this point it's now or never! With the picks of a Deebo trade you can safe your messed off season and pick a top 3 Oline guy and Samuels replacement. With the 1st pick a guy like Neal/Cross/Linderbaum/Ekwonu to make Trey feel comfortable in the pocket and with the 2nd a speedy WR like Chr. Watson to stretch the field.

I used to be a huge Deebo supporter but has turned into a DIVA and lost all my respect! He is NOT worth what he is asking for! For one, he can't stay healthy and he is NOT a true #1 receiver! He is yet to complete a whole season without an injury! Trade him and sign Jarvis Landry! McCloud will provide similar services that Deebo has!

I wish I could sign a 4 year contract with an employer and then turn around and demand 100000 % more before I've even finished up the contract I willingly signed. Must be nice!
Lets be real here. If Deebo produced 3 out of the 4 seasons of his Rookie deal the way he produced last year then it would make sense to pay Deebo Tyreek Hill, Devante Adams
money. But Deebo has only had ONE productive (albeit VERY PRODUCTIVE) year. But just because he had one solid year doesn't take away from the fact that he was injured in
the other seasons and it doesn't mean he should feel like he's being wronged by the 49ers. Find me another WR that had ONE really good season who turned around and got a
huge payday the way Deebo is expecting. I'll be waiting in my grave for your response.. If anything, I think Deebo wants the 49ers to just ASSUME that he's worth 30 million a

Honestly it’s fun to see this entire deebo situation come up. My 2 cents is this.

Deebo is still under contract until next year and even then the niners could tag him to keep him around another year. Deebo had one monster season and wants the bag fine. Let’s look at the last time the niners paid someone who had a really good few games and then signed them to a 5 year contract. Jimmy looked very promising but we can all agree that after that injury he was never same. Now the niners haven’t been able to trade him, they are stuck with his contract for the year, unless they can deal him, and they aren’t going to make the mistake twice.

Now let’s look at the factual side of the deebo situation. Deebo is still under contract for an entire year and the niners could tag him after that. Deebo has yet to play an entire season without missing a game due to durability issues plus his success from this season came from his position switch.

Now this is real issue a lot of people are overseeing. Deebo has stated he wants only play WR and not wide back, but he wants to get paid top WR, which hasn’t shown much off. Has he had good number as a WR only? Yes. But are they worth new record breaking deals? No. If deebo wants to get paid top dollar he’s going to have to play as a wide back because that makes sense. But he’s crazy if he thinks he’s only going to be WR and paid like a top 5 wide receiver.

Hopefully things calm down and deebo doesnt ruin his relationships with front office on a year when he’s not even due for a new contract. But if things keep going the way they are, idk bye bye deebo i guess.

If the rumors are true that the Jets want to straight-up trade their #10 pick for Deebo then hell yeah! This year's draft may be lacking when it comes to QBs, but there are several excellent WR prospects to replace Deebo, or we could trade the #10 for multiple picks and draft a new center. Wilson could use a mentor and Jimmy is available for reasonable additional compensation too…
