It sure is an awful lot to give up, and KC did a good job acquiring so much draft capital, but I can see this one working out for both teams. I'm still a believer in Tua, and adding Hill and an offensive-minded coach in Mike Daniels, who comes from a system proven to elevate QBs, he should have the tools to reach his potential. Maybe he lacks the top end upside of Burrow and Herbert, but I could see him making a few Pro Bowls and being a good, dependable QB in that 8-14 range in terms of QB rankings. That's valuable, especially on a rookie deal! Buffalo is a very good team, but they're not an impossible obstacle the way some of those New England teams were. I think Miami can compete for the division.

I still cannot rap my head around this. Sad to see Hill leave, but at the same time I am sure the Chiefs were going to pay him a lot of money, plus he was going to be in the playoffs every year and a chance to win the Superbowl. So for hill it was about more money then most of mortals would know what to do with.
The comment section is why i love this trade, some people think the chiefs won this, some people think the dolphins did, and i'm sitting feeling like its a win-win and a lose-lose, the chiefs got crazy amounts of value for this deal, but they'll lose it at first but 4 years from now they'll still be contending for super bowls, and i can't believe they made such a good move, thats so bad because right now everyone in their division is honestly better than them atm, and i'm waiting for the next move, because maybe they can get a DK. Maybe they can get a brandin cooks for cheaper. whispers Maybe just take AB for cheap 🙂 Maybe just take a bunch of young guys in a loaded wr class, if the fact that the chiefs are sitting at 29 and 30 does that automatically make a guy like chris olave go earlier either way? its fun to imagine how this changes the entire draft. I believe this trade helps both teams for the long term. If KC paid him 30 million, it shows that we’ll overpay everybody who asks for it which is bad for overall morale on the team. The Chiefs now have a bunch of draft picks and 29 million in cap space which is the most in the NFL according to OverTheCap. KC may have to face a season mediocrity but if management does their job right, the Chiefs could be an even better team than they are now in the 2024 season. Stay positive Chiefs Kingdom 🔴🟡🔴
Mahomes needs Hill more than the Chiefs know. Hell, last year the chiefs offense was just Hill and Kelce, and Hill was the sole reason they beat the Bills in the playoffs.
Putting aside the fact ima life long "Finatic" (it's OK dont feel bad for me, I'm use to loosing) this trade is interesting. Imo the Dolphins are the only team that could either win it all, or win 2-3 games… not much in-between as usual…

Chiefs were able to spread the opponent's defense through Tyreek. Good luck doing that with Juju. They'll perhaps adapt to the given weapons but this just doesn't make any sense to downgrade for a superbowl contending team while other teams are building a super team to win it all.

Please go back and study past NFL drafts. You will discover that The vast majority of draft picks, including the 1st round picks, are busts. They end up out of the league after a few seasons. This was a boondoggle trade for the KC Chiefs. Mahomes should have given up some of his cap to Tyreek Hill and Hill should have compromised more. These guys are young and inexperienced with finances and don’t realize they can hugely multiply their earning through long term investments
