Biggest weakness is the 2ndary
Your analysis is RIGHT ON POINT… We need a CB and another pass rusher… ie. Houston, Dunlap, etc
They have a “great pass rush” because they get a lot of pressures and sacks from blitzing. They compromise their back end a lot. Tampa’s biggest issue is the pass rush, secondary is the second biggest issue.
Their ability to rush the passer with 4 was greatly compromised last year because of the decline of JPP due to injuries and him just getting old. Suh also had nice sack #s but he piled half of them up against a terrible ATL o-line and he lacks the consistent interior burst off the line that he had in his youth.
They need a younger twitchier interior pass rusher next to Vita Vea (who’s greatest asset in pass rush is pushing and destroying the QB’s pocket & devouring double teams) that can provide quicker pass rush wins.
That along with the development of Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, who’s a freakish talent that’s shown tremendous talent, and the steadiness of Shaq Barrett will improve the overall defense. The secondary will be better with just that, not to say that they can’t use upgrades in their personnel cuz they can.
They should also find or develop one more offensive linemen to sure up the left guard spot. Whether it’s somebody already there or in the draft

Offensively they need a running back and and tight end . I think if they resign Gronk which probably is going to happen. I think it would be a good idea to draft a TE in the top 3 rounds . Gronk is obviously still good but Brate really doesn’t provide anything at this point other then good hands . I’d like to see them Draft somebody like an Isaiah Likely to add youth and speed to that position.

Rams are a great matchup. JPP was beat up and I could see him being released. Secondary is the biggest concern defensively.
Carlton Davis and jamel dean are great corners but they need a veteran in the Nickel corner position which Logan Ryan is. Logan Ryan was a corner, before he went to the giants he was the corner for the titans that picked off Tom Bradys last pass as a Patriot
