Regarding the endorsements of Carson Wentz by his now former coach and team mates, what would you expect them to say the day after Wentz was no longer on their team? It costs them nothing to praise him and would look bad if they did otherwise. Let's hope there is even a kernel of sincerity in their testimonials.

Said the same thing about Davis n that worked out so well we need a Vet MLB running the D not a rookie field general

It was nice to hear Logan talk highly about Jelani Woods. I really want the team to draft him. He looks like such a mid-round gem

Marcus Mariota just signed for $14 million, that's half of Wentz's salary. Is Wentz twice as good as Mariota?

we've gotta trade back, even if it's practically out of the 1st with Detroit for 32 and 34 or w/e they have, but I think Pittsburgh and New Orleans will be possible trade partners with Dolphins and maybe a couple other teams being sleeper trade back partners depending who makes it to 11, I think Leo Chenal is the MLB we need, he's the closest thing to Micha Parsons in this draft and would be huge, Jalen Pitre in the 2nd is also a perfect fit to go along with him to give us the perfect Nickel Back so we can legit play nickel as our base like Ron and JDR want., then getting Nick Cross with that extra pick from the trade back to give us elite range and potential at FS would be a dream come true.

I think the best move in free agency at LB would be reuniting Allen and Payne with Rashaan Evans who will be super cheap could get a boost from his former teammate if you absolutely have to have that Vet leadership, Otherwise, I think this LB class offers far more long term potential than signing a 31-year-old Bobby Wagner for money out of Terry or Payne's pocket. I also think drafting possibly the 1st CB off the board is a monumental waste in Ron and Jack's Zone coverage scheme, I think a local prospect like Tariq Castro-Fields on day 3 is a way smarter use of resources way more Ron's style, and possibly a better fit. This scheme doesn't need elite CBs, it needs precise role players the LB and Nickel positions are what we need. I also think Leo Chenal at 6'3 250lbs is a special prospect at the LB position and his tape is more impressive than any other LB in this draft, He came away from this season after 3 years of steady improvement with the 2nd highest overall PFF grade at LB on the season only behind Nakobe Dean, (who just doesn't fit what we need) He had the 2nd highest PFF run defense EVER slightly behind only Micah Parsons, he's by far the closest thing to Micah Parsons in this draft and on top of that he dominated the combine and his Pro Day basically outperforming Parsons by ever metric outside of 40 time(which would be nearly impossible to do) and by.02 in the 3 cone, otherwise Chenal who was still super impressive with a 4.53 40 at 250lbs and even though he doesn't have that top speed of Parsons he had faster 10 and 20 yard splits with a full.2 seconds better shuttle, 6.5in higher vert, 2in longer broad, which shows off Chenal as slightly more explosive in that first 20 yards, where it's most important for LBs anyway, with that he had 15 more bench reps to boot adding all up to a 9.99 RAS to Parsons'9.59 RAS, but he isn't just numbers like Jamin Davis, who was widely viewed as a 3rd rounder before his Pro day and honestly shouldn't have got a 2 round boost for a 40 time, Chenal has the tape and the grading to stack up to Micah Parsons as a prospect and we should be all in on putting that dude behind this front at Mike with Jamin outside and hopefully Jalen Pitre at nickel.

We should draft Sauce Gardner if he’s there. If not (probably not) then we draft Garrett Wilson out of Ohio State.
