I kind of knew where this video was headed based off the title and was going to wait to comment but you just said it. Ravens need to get with the times. Pain and simple. You ever notice how the ravens always ALMOST had an offensive player in a trade but almost always get a defensive player in that same trade ? I have no proof but I'm sure it just came down to a draft pick. The only forward thinking move we've made since the superbowl was drafting Lamar Jackson. We lacked game changers and speed on our team for the longest. I'm going to stop there but I could say so much more.
Hot Take here: Julio could be a cheap and solid signing, ik he’s injury prone but we won’t be asking him to do a whole lot, just win his matchup when we do throw the ball, he’s a vet that’s been at the top so he could also coach up our guys. We don’t need 2016 Julio we just need a good proven big body receiver, then we can draft one too

Yea we rely too heavily on Lamarball especially in crunch time and when it comes to philosophy I was about to leave my Ravens if we didn't draft Torrey Smith, we finally drafted some receivers but still hate on em.

Problem with Raven fans is they like players who are a little past their prime and get all excited when they might sign. Management tries to get that diamond in the ruff and groom them into a good player and if that happens they let them walk because they don't want to pay the big bucks to keep them. Other teams are getting the players in their prime trying to get to the SB and when they get there and win they unload those players and contracts onto other teams.
I like how there’s this idea that the Ravens need to change the way they do things. THEY ARE IN THE TOP 5 IN WINS SINCE 2000. Yea I’d say that sucks and we need to change. We need to start being reckless and broker the future for right now. Let’s just go away from what has made us a contender CONSISTENTLY over the last 2 decades. Yea let’s just do that.
With last season being how it was with injuries, 2022 is going to feel like we had the best offseason ever with everyone coming back. Then we have the draft, I think we will be good to go.

If Lamar could come to agreement on a contract edc would know what he has to spend, I know lj8 is doing his thing but him signing a contract would give the gm room to operate and build around him.

The Watson deal was a killer for us, him behind that talent will give us problems. Lamar want 50 mil a year but he has to prove he can be a consistent passer otherwise it's a bad deal for the team. I would've supported a trade for Watson especially if Lamar doesn't want to sign a deal with us.
Have a solid team base through the draft and go all in on key free agents.
