Let’s see how the remainder of the Season plays out (2 maybe 3-4 Games left) and then we’ll have a more definitive answer, or at least a lot better than we know today

I never extend a RB in Todays NFL and especially when they have another year left under Contract, Why would You and especially with the injuries and durability issues that Sanders has had every year?
Draft a good RB every 2 Draft’s and use them up with young ,fresh legs and take it from there

Does anyone think that the Rams (Gurley), Panthers (McCaffrey), Cowboys (Zeke) or even the Saints (Kamara) don’t regret these big Extensions they gave to RB’s who’s effective shelf life average about 4 Years in the NFL

Do note that J Hurts has played in a lot of Games in his Young Career dating back to College Career and now 19-20 Starts in the NFL so experience is not something he’s lacking in comparison to other 2nd Year NFL Players

Hurts a starter not back up especially on the Eagles. Trade him to starting situation. Sickening the over analyzing Eagles kids a rookie basically. Franchise QB how many of them is there franchise QBs 5 or 6 of 32 teams. Not realistic. Lawrence gets excuses everyone gets excuses beside Hurts.

Hurts is the guy. Still no doubt more assistance is needed as far as mentorships and aid for the QB development through the off-season. I recall Carson Wentz hired a professional mechanics Coach in the Off-season and Hurts would help himself if he went the same route Imo.

The Eagles Coaching Staff won’t even begin to evaluate College QB and other Prospects until after the Season , they gave no time to worry about this in-season…

Maybe you should compare Wilson and Hurts numbers this year before trading for Wilson he has not been the same since hes come back and might have some nerve damage in that injured hand Hurts numbers in the 4th qtr is second best in the league 90.9 PFF numbers and has more upside

The more I listen and observe this team and channel I feel Short of a Super Bowl Hurts was and is in a no win situation so I don’t expect him to be here next season

The only thing you can evaluate is footwork, ball placement and rhythm. Did he improve or not. .

    Ceiling is a crapshoot.

Aside from having Rodgers, Russ or Watson fall in our laps this offseason, Jalen is gonna be our starter next year.
There simply isnt a better QB talent in the draft than Jalen Hurts.

I personally have seen enough of jalen to know I wanna see more next year. Year after that? We’ll see. I would like to be patient because as far as everything else locker room/mental makeup….he’s the guy. To be continued?

I would trade for Metcalf and have him opposite of Smith as the #2 receiver. With them two along with Quez, and Godert tearing up the slot having Sanders or Howard in the backfield. That would be pretty dangerous with the right playcalling

I can see Philly drafting Willis & starting Hurts next year while Willis develops. They can just compete for the starting gig in 2023. Willis is more talented than Hurts & both are still raw. I just hope Philly drafts Drake London.

He's done enough to be the guy over anyone in this draft. I'm not sure he's done enough to stop them from going after a proven elite QB.

    2022 needs:
    1) Defensive pieces at E, LB, S and CB
    2) Legit #1-2 WR; in the mold of a big body receiver. Jump balls, move the sticks and make the contested catches consistently. A perfect example would be aka Allen Robinson or DK
    3) Hurts passing growth; there are no young QBs who are better than him in the draft and he’s only due $3 mil. Why waste our picks to rebuild when we can build around the guy and if he doesn’t eventually work out, you have the team built up!!!
    4) Veteran WR at slot. This WR rooms needs mentorship badly
    5) OL depth; Brooks prob gone and as we can see this year depth is valuable

I mean you guys stated eagles wouldn't even be over 500. The fact we are sitting at 8-7 shows Hurts has grown into being a starter but if a Russell Wilson or Rodgers is available you can't really argue with that
