can't win the award if you get shutout. I don't even think you should win it if your team only scored 3 points. I think Mahomes and Rodgers both fall under that as well. i would give it to a D player or RB unless one of the QB's break some kind of long held record.

RBs number mean more in my opinion … QBs number lie. Both for and against then . A QB can throw a 10 yard slant in the flat from the 10 and the receiver goes from 80, and it'll be 90 yards for the Qb lol

OK here’s the thing with the MVPs you can’t put LaDainian Tomlinson on there cause he had 1800 yards in like 28 rushing touchdowns in his MVP season which was 16 games so literally he would have to rush for like 400 yards in the next two games and get like nine touchdowns to even tie. Now I agree that he should probably be the MVP especially if he keeps on this pace but let’s not act like he’s doing as good if not better than LaDainian Tomlinson

brady has the worst game an MVP candiate will ever have vs the saints in being shut out
arron rodgers had a worse game vs the saints in week 1 but we forget because it was week 1?

Mvp should be the person who makes the most valuable contribution to the team
A player that has great receivers to help is not an mvp because he has lots of help. The mvp carries the team.

As he talks about Brady's terrible last game..reminder that Rodgers has a game this season with a 36.8 Passer Rating and 2 interceptions, while this recent Brady performance was 57.1 rating and only had one INT. Gotta look at the whole season.

TJ too high in my book. Missed some games and the team's record really matters. You cannot be an MVP candidate by barely being 0.500 and not even being top 2 in your division, let alone being first. For me the list would be:

    1.Rodgers, no question there
    2.Jonathon Taylor
    3. Cooper Kupp
    4. Mahomes
    5. Micah Parsons
    6. Deebo
    7. Brady
    8. Matt Judon
    9. Mixon
    10. Davante Adams

Rodgers is running away with it. He only has one bad game and his efficiency is off the charts. He also has the best record in the whole league. His TD/int ratio alone shows how good he has been. Jonaton Taylor since week 4 has been killing it. He has been a monster. HThe 2 things that don't allow him to compete with Rodgers is that his team's record isn't that good in a pretty weak AFC and that we had seen a better player at his position this season before he went down in Derrick Henry. Rodgers on the other hand has been the clear cut best in his position all season and he plays the most talented position there. That says something. Cupp might break the receiving record and the whole Rams offense runs through him. His stats are out of this world. He might have the greatest receiving season ever from a numbers stand point. Mahomes had a very rough start but they have been rolling for a couple weeks now and they are at the top of the AFC and are tied for the second best record in the NFL. Micah Parsons has been carrying the whole team for the past games and he has done it everywhere. And unlike TJ Watt and Myles Garrett, his team has a pretty good record. Deebo is there for his dual threat and what he has accomplished both from rushing and receiving. He is one of the best receivers in this league but recently he has been even better at rushing compared to his elite status as a receiver. Brady is there for having the most totals in passing with most passing TDs and most total yards. He also has one of the best records but his schedule has been super easy. Matt Judon has led the best defense in the league and his story from joining the team just this season and being the second biggest part in the Pats comeback to dominance puts him there. Mixon has been insane. After the Bengals hot start with Ja'Marr and Burrow, they started to slow down but Mixon has been on a roll. Him and Tee Higgins have been the only consistent factors in one of the best and most explosive offenses and Mixon has clearly been their best offensive player when you look into the whole season and they are leading their division after being known as one of the worst franchises in the NFL for years and they have been incredible even with the Zach Taylor problems. And after Cooper Kupp and his phenomenal season, Davante is having the second best receiver season. He is having a better year than Deebo but what Deebo has done has never been done to the extent he has been doing it so I gave him the edge on that.

Removing qbs from the mvp devalues the award they already have offensive and defensive players of the year. Want other players to have a chance change all the pro qb pro passing rules back.
