The problem with analytics is it cannot account for human error.

Coaches always preach about the 3 phases of the football team…defense, offense and special teams. U have to trust all of them at some point. Maybe Rogers throws an int or the defense gets a strip sack? Plus the Packers kicker isn't automatic at all!

I didn’t like the call at all. The Ravens are not good on two point conversions. They are GREAT at special teams. Justin Tucker is GREAT at field goals. My logic would have bend toward what we go GREAT instead of something we do good.

I really like the idea of doing away with the OTs in the regular season and only having them for the postseason. It maybe could help curb some of the injuries

If there was no OT in the Regular Season, you would have to be Stupid not to play for the tie. ( With only division games being a game to go for the win, and that depends as well). A tie is not a loss. It puts you in a better position during tie breakers for playoff spots. So you would have to be dumb not to play for the Tie in that scenario.
His argument makes no sense. Harbaugh is apparently trying to go for the win right then cuz he thinks it's his best chance at actually winning the game and not getting an L in overtime. If there was no OT, the Analytics would probably say to go for the tie. It's Statistically better then a 50 percent chance at losing.
Harbaugh makes no sense regardless. Neither did the Chargers against KC.
Imagine how the Saints would have made out of they practiced that shit logic against TB and put no pts on the board. 3 Fgs won them the game.

Analytics might have worked great before every team was Game planning with them and for them.
The reason Analytics don't change much is because most of the games the Analytics are based on, are games that were played long before people were keeping track of every little tiny statistic and tendency.
That's not the case anymore. But the percentages are already skewed from decades of data that doesn't take into account that the Game was played and game planned very different. Every one has access to endless Team and player Tendency Analytics. That makes going off analytics alone just dumb and predictable.
Like Tomlin said in much more concise manner after they beat the Ravens. Well Actually after the Ravens Lost to Pittsburgh of their own Accord.

Thank you Mike!!! They so predictable. It’s always to Andrews. And he’s not reliable in the clutch yet

I decided to look up Tucker's numbers this season, dude is PERFECT on PAT's this year, 27-27 AND 29-31 on field goals sooo…If I have the best kicker in the league why wouldn't I trust him to kick an extra point and then possibly win a coin toss and make a fg in OT?? Then if you want to argue analytics that's fine but they can't factor in PLAY CALLING, Huntley rolling out to his right and staring down Andrews effectively cuts off two-thirds of the end zone so it's an all or nothing play that has a low success rate, especially since it eliminates a qb run or a secondary receiver.

    I am not happy… .
He should send in Justin and May the odds be In our favor in OT.
The first time it happen against the Steelers . I saw logic in the answer to an extent.
But allow the game to flow.

Yesterday it should have ran. The field goal Kick.
    And go for it.

Huntley was flying why not just go to over time and get the win properly. Harbargh has tried to be a hero two weeks in a row and got it badly wrong. d stupid call.
