This team reminds me of the 2000-2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The defense was great, offense was stagnant until they got a running game, (Warrick Dunn, Mike Alstott) Then they won the Super Bowl. People don’t even care about who the QB was. He was there to not lose the game (Brad Johnson)
Yea our defense is really good except on 3rd and anything over 5. Not sure why that down and distance kills us
I say this every week every time we run the ball twice on any set of downs we go three and out unless tua makes a good play which he often does but i hate that our run game isn’t effective

ya those drops, by waddle and gesicki by all people, got me worried for a while that it might be a bad omen. tua missed a couple guys, but man he's been clutch on 3rd down. i'm not sure if they're not running deep routes at all, or if tua isn't hitting em, but they definitely need to at least threaten those plays to really go anywhere. running game seems to be just to keep defenses honest, and to freeze LBs and DEs to setup other stuff. surprised lindsey was inactive, gaskin hesitancy is frustrating. wilson almost ran backward to avoid another first down, fucking hate that shit.

OL and RB (if possible) in free agency, snag another young WR in the draft and then maybe build some more depth for the OL after that.
We cannot rely on young unproven OL from the draft and drafting a RB in the first round is super risky.

To your waddle take ill just say this, tya can't throw deep under constant pressure. He never has enough time in the pocket to plant his feet and sling it. He needs to box out more and throw on the run but I don't think he gets enough time to distance himself the way Allen, mahomes, or Wilson do. For now anyways
they have to play with the lead in order to keep winning. that's why they can run the ball 25 times gaining 2 ypc. if they are down at any point, the offense will abandon the run quickly.
i hate albert wilson. he's the worst open field runner i've ever seen. two weeks in a row he just had to fall down and pickup a first down, and decided to run backwards short of the first. i hate when he is holding the ball in the middle of the field. i would only give him sideline throws so he cannot lose yards like he does.
