The defense is deceptively good. Not great but good. The biggest knock on them is not getting off of the field on 3rd downs. But the defense is good enough for and complimentary to the offense. When your offense scores as quick and effective as Tennessee's offense, your defense is going to take some statistical hits. But think about this. That defense was on the field for 47 minutes and 99 plays. I am sure they were gassed. But they STILL had the ability to stop Kentucky from scoring the winning touchdown. Even with the missed call, KY had a legitimate chance to win the game. The defense stopped all 4 plays to seal the game.

Also about the game against Georgia. I think Georgia wins by a couple of touchdowns. I think that Tennessee's offense will find a way to score. But the caveat is that while Tennessee has had a terrible habit of losing to inferior Florida teams, it has had a knack for beating superior Georgia teams. Not saying that this will happen on Saturday. But it is something to think about.

I would like to see Tennessee get i up 10-14 points and see if Georgia can find a way to win really test the Georgia offense fire power
