Great reporting as usual. I am upset that this is the case now, prior to this announcement even if we stayed in the AAC we would possibly get in the playoffs if we were to win our conference championship. But now that it is apparently clear to everyone, that the only way you can get in is by being in a power 5 conference we must go to any p5 conference that will invite us, even if that power 5 conference ( Big 12) were to dissolve in a couple of years. I believe this is the best course of action because 1. It would make us legitimate in the eyes of many – ie. Selection committee, which will give us the opportunity to get into the playoffs. 2. Value in building a national brand with more eyes on us… this will happen anyway because we are the future of football. And our Market is going to continue to grow year-in and year-out – come on we live in Orlando after all have you been on I-4 lately. We are growing by Leaps and Bounds…it's all about the money. Once in the big12, if the conference should break up our market/brand will be too valuable to ignore. The ACC or SEC will soon come knocking

WVU and 2 other Big 12 schools are already gone. The ACC and SEC will never take UCF because of Miami and FSU in the ACC and Florida in the SEC. If the SEC expands it will not be a Fla team it will be a northern or mid west team so they can grow the SEC brand and same with the ACC.

The SEC has won 11 out of 15 National Championships with the current playoff format – including a thrilling OT game in 2017 featuring Georgia vs Alabama.
